A Catholic site listed Ellen G. White as heretic of the week, so it seems they know who she is. She is in good company with Protestant Reformers who were persecuted and burned at the stake and the many who faithful believers who were tortured and killed for their beliefs. The Roman Catholic Church has not changed her ways and soon we shall see her repeat her past of persecuting the true Christian. Here is the article on it.

'They take a couple offhand swipes at the Seventh-day Adventist Movement, criticizing our observance of the "Jewish Sabbath", and dietary laws.  They also take issue with our prophetic understanding of Pope as Antichrist, and refer to William Miller as a false prophet.

They close the article with these words,

For the most part, Adventists are conscientious objectors, but they have specialised in medical roles during wartime. Similarly, the denomination has a generous commitment to hospitals and schools – and were great practitioners of racial equality. Their technological savvy must be balanced against the proof asserted of the papacy's diabolical nature – that the (non-existent) inscription on the papal tiara adds up to 666 in Hebrew letters.

It appears that Roman Catholics don't care too much for the Seventh-day Adventist movement and message.  They are pretty chummy with progressive Adventism however, forming alliances with Adventist Health California in 2018, a merger that was blocked by California Atty. Gen. Xavier Becerra in 2019.

Progressive Adventists have adopted the Roman Catholic doctrine of Lent, and read freely from Roman Catholic mystical writings.

The Seventh-day Adventist Movement teaches that the Roman Catholic System is antichrist, and symbolized in Scripture as the "Little Horn" of Daniel 8, and the Great Harlot of Revelation 17.  This is fundamental Protestant teaching; most of all, it is thoroughly biblical.  To those in the Roman Catholic system, God says "Come out of her, My people."

If that makes us heretics, so be it.  It's an honor to be listed in the same company with William Tyndale, Wycliffe, John Huss, Felix Manz, Martin Luther, Balthasar Hubmaier and Dirk Willems.'
Here is a good video on it.. https://rumble.com/v2ogt5o-is-ellen-g.-white-a-heretic-the-truth-will-surprise-you.html

I wouldn't call Ellen G White just a heretic.  I would call her a false prophet in the lines of Joseph Smith and Charles Taze Russell.

Did they write anything you would call of God or Godly......Need to rethink that...

I believe Ellen G White is a false prophetess who pushes a false gospel.

And I would call the self appointed John Calvin one.

Among his totally idiodic teachings are

10.  Calvin believed that human beings could be distributors or mediators of salvation: "In several passages he [St. Paul] . . . attributes to himself the province of bestowing salvation (1 Cor. 3:9)."

11. Calvin seemingly accepted the notion of baptismal regeneration: ". . . forgiveness, which at our first regeneration we receive by baptism alone . . . we are washed from our sins by the blood of Christ."

He also stated: "Reason would tell us that baptism is rightly administered to babies.

13. Calvin believed that there was a profound causal connection between Holy Eucharist and salvation: "Nay, the very flesh in which he resides he makes vivifying to us, that by partaking of it we may feed for immortality. . . . by this food believers are reared to eternal life." (IV, 17:8) / ". . . the food of eternal life." (IV, 17:19) / ". . . secures the immortality of our flesh, . . ."

Ellen White never said or wrote of any of these.....

But the absolute worst is Frankie who

When Pope Francis went to speak at the United Nations Headquarters in New York on Friday, September 25th, 2015. He opened with "In my own name, and that of the entire Catholic community, I wish to express to you, Mr. Ban Ki-moon, my heartfelt gratitude."

Why is it noteworthy, because of this verse here in John...

"I am come in the name of my Father, and you receive me not: if another shall come in his own name, him you will receive" (John 5:43).

Oh but wait, he wasn't done yet, later that evening, Pope Francis went to St. Patrick's Cathedral in Manhattan for an evening service, where he stated that Jesus the Messiah, Our Savior was a 'Failure'!

"The cross shows us a different way of measuring success. Ours is to plant the seeds. God sees to the fruits of our labors. And if at times our efforts and works seem to fail and not produce fruit, we need to remember that we are followers of Jesus Christ and his life, humanly speaking, ended in failure, the failure of the cross."

At the UN....

Below is the opening statement of the speech of the Pope:

Following a tradition by which I feel honored, the Secretary General of the United Nations has invited the Pope to address this distinguished assembly of nations.  In my own name, and that of the entire Catholic community, I wish to express to you, Mr Ban Ki-moon, my heartfelt gratitude.

The name of Jesus was never mentioned during the entire speech.  In his subsequent addresses to the U.S. Congress, as well as in the White House, the name of Jesus still was not mentioned. Following the speech, many Catholic commentators pointed out that the Pope speaks in the name of Jesus, and should therefore explicitly invoke his name in order to direct national and world leaders to the light of Christ and His teaching.

Ill stop because the man is incessantly awful.

Ellen White had her faults but as I said I never read where she was
so obviously anti-Christian.

Ellen White is obviously a false prophetess.

You shouldn't respond to defend Hobie when you are ignorant of the discussion.

Some false statements by her I agree.

But I only hear you jump all over her other then Cathlodox the way that you do.

You never say a word against Calvin.

You never say a word against Frankie.

Ellen White is but a small cog in the big wheel of theological ideas .

At least you did mention Joseph Smith and Charles Taze Russell

I am not defending Hobie so much as saying that of any that can be mentioned Ellen is the mildest in ideas.

JWs might be the worst second only to the RCC and whatever current leadership they have.

None are 100% right...

But truth be told... there is so much argument between the "main stream" protestant churches on who is right or wrong on certain things... except for your church TC... it is a wonder any of them are standing.

I don't think you even believe your above accusation. If you did, by now you would have attempted to point out what you claim is so obvious. But you never do. I take it, this is because you know it really is not as obvious as you claim. And if you actually got into details, the flaws in your accusations or arguments would be to easily pointed out. So as usual, I guess everyone is going to have to just take your word for it.

Mat 12:36 But I say unto you, That every idle word that men shall speak, they shall give account thereof in the day of judgment. 37 For by thy words thou shalt be justified, and by thy words thou shalt be condemned.

Exo 20:16 Thou shalt not bear false witness against thy neighbour.

If your accusation is false, you will of course have some explaining to do in the judgement. If it is true, you very well might have just as much explaining to do, for not expounding upon such possibly life saving or threatening deception. Here is your opportunity to help those you consider deceived, and or might be deceived in the future by the false prophesies you suggest she is guilty of. Are not the souls of those you believe to be deceived by her, worth the time to try and save by revealing the truth of her deceptions?

Need to read your Bible...
Joel 2:28-29
King James Version
28 And it shall come to pass afterward, that I will pour out my spirit upon all flesh; and your sons and your daughters shall prophesy, your old men shall dream dreams, your young men shall see visions:
29 And also upon the servants and upon the handmaids in those days will I pour out my spirit.
