1 Samuel 18
18 After David had finished talking with Saul, Jonathan became one in spirit with David, and he loved him as himself. 2 From that day Saul kept David with him and did not let him return home to his family. 3 And Jonathan made a covenant with David because he loved him as himself. 4 Jonathan took off the robe he was wearing and gave it to David, along with his tunic, and even his sword, his bow and his belt.

5 Whatever mission Saul sent him on, David was so successful that Saul gave him a high rank in the army. This pleased all the troops, and Saul's officers as well.

However, as it is written:
"What no eye has seen,
what no ear has heard,
and what no human mind has conceived"—
the things God has prepared for those who love him.
1 Corinthians 2:9

1 Samuel 18
This is a beautiful verse in the Bible.
And friendship which is preordained is the most beautiful friendship.
Because there is no need to question it, just complete acceptance,
& there are no limitations or differences.
And the most beautiful fact about this covenant friendship is that
God Himself made this friendship.

And even before God formed these two chosen people, He already knew the beginning & how this beautiful beginning would last in an everlasting soul level bond.
A beginning & an everlasting bond, that was beautiful & God already knew that when these two would arrive on the earth, that bond which was already formed by Heaven itself, will lead to the culmination of this friendship.

And the most beautiful part is that words were never needed,
Though this didn't mean that both David & Jonathan, never met, they did,
But they were just two souls guided by God Himself, a pure divine bond,

A bond where two souls met in a space which was not limited to only
The physical dimensions,
Where their souls understood each other, just two pure souls recognizing each other,
& such a profound bond transcended human logic,

It could not be explained by the limitations of the mind,
Because even the most intelligent person's mind is limited,
It cannot be compared to the vastness of the understanding of God.
And yet the Holy Bible tells of this profound connection.
A connection in which both David & Jonathan did meet,

& even when there was distance,
As if still their souls met, where words were not needed,
Just the quiet bond of love made by God Himself, sustained their deep friendship.
And though both of them suffered through their personal hardships & struggles, yet they survived through these painful patterns caused by the world,

& even though the world gave them moments which were imperfect,
Yet in these imperfect times, their deep & divine friendship was not measured by thinking of the perfect days to come by, rather both David & Jonathan, were together during every storm that life brought them,
Two chosen mortals, surrounded by storms , struggles, battles & hardships made by others,

& yet because of their deep soul level love, their unwavering commitment,
Their emotional depth full of support & care,
Their story became immortalized down the ages,
& God Himself had sustained their friendship.

They gave their friendship to each other, because their souls loved each other dearly, without hesitation, just pure simple soul level friendship,
Preordained by God Himself.
And when God Himself, made such a friendship,
There was just a silent understanding between two beautiful souls
That they were made for this bond, no words were required,

Just a trust in God & God Himself joining this bond together being the third member to this immortal covenant friendship.
And what is built by Heaven itself, & has the stamp of God, cannot be broken by storms, hardships or anything else,
Amen.

And so we know and rely on the love God has for us. God is love. Whoever lives in love lives in God, and God in them.
