2 Samuel 23
David's Mighty Warriors
8 These are the names of David's mighty warriors:

Josheb-Basshebeth, a Tahkemonite, was chief of the Three; he raised his spear against eight hundred men, whom he k*lled in one encounter.

9 Next to him was Eleazar son of Dodai the Ahohite. As one of the three mighty warriors, ....10 but Eleazar stood his ground and struck down the heathen till his hand grew tired and froze to the sword. The Lord brought about a great victory that day.

11 Next to him was Shammah son of Agee the Hararite. When the heathen banded together at a place where there was a field full of lentils, .. 12 But Shammah took his stand in the middle of the field. He defended it and struck the heathen down, and the Lord brought about a great victory.
13 During harvest time, three of the thirty chief warriors came down to David at the cave of Adullam, while a band of heathen was encamped in the Valley of Rephaim. 14 At that time David was in the stronghold, and the heathen garrison was at Bethlehem. 15 David longed for water and said, "Oh, that someone would get me a drink of water from the well near the gate of Bethlehem!" 16 So the three mighty warriors broke through the heathen lines, drew water from the well near the gate of Bethlehem and carried it back to David. But he refused to drink it; instead, he poured it out before the Lord. 17 "Far be it from me, Lord, to do this!" he said. "Is it not the blood of men who went at the risk of their lives?" And David would not drink it.

Such were the exploits of the three mighty warriors.
18 Abishai the brother of Joab son of Zeruiah was chief of the Three. He raised his spear against three hundred men, whom he k*lled, and so he became as famous as the Three.

20 Benaiah son of Jehoiada, a valiant fighter from Kabzeel, performed great exploits. He struck down Moab's two mightiest warriors. He also went down into a pit on a snowy day and killed a lion. 21 And he struck down a huge heathen. Although the heathen had a spear in his hand, Benaiah went against him with a club. He snatched the spear from the heathen's hand and k*lled him with his own spear. 22 Such were the exploits of Benaiah son of Jehoiada; he too was as famous as the three mighty warriors. 23 He was held in greater honor than any of the Thirty, but he was not included among the Three. And David put him in charge of his bodyguard.

From the above Bible Verses,
it is clearly seen that the victory which David's Mighty Warriors achieved was because of their faith in God & God's eternal blessings on them.
It would have been easy to keep the faith when things
were going right for them,

but despite the challenges they faced & being outnumbered, it was their trust & faith in God & God's eternal covenant with the Jews that brought victory where in ordinary circumstances & without the help of God would not have been possible,

but with God on their side, nothing was too hard to accomplish & the victory was their's in advance,
they just had to claim it.
That is keeping the faith & God's eternal blessings which He freely gives to those who ask according to His will,

Joshua 5:13-6:27
The Fall of Jericho
13 Now when Joshua was near Jericho, he looked up and saw a man standing in front of him with a drawn sword in his hand. Joshua went up to him and asked, "Are you for us or for our enemies?"

14 "..he replied, "but as commander of the army of the Lord I have now come." Then Joshua fell facedown to the ground in reverence, and asked him, "What message does my Lord[a] have for his servant?"

15 The commander of the Lord's army replied, "Take off your sandals, for the place where you are standing is holy." And Joshua did so.


6 Now the gates of Jericho were securely barred because of the Israelites. No one went out and no one came in.

2 Then the Lord said to Joshua, "See, I have delivered Jericho into your hands, along with its king and its fighting men. 3 March around the city once with all the armed men. Do this for six days. 4 Have seven priests carry trumpets of rams' horns in front of the ark. On the seventh day, march around the city seven times, with the priests blowing the trumpets. 5 When you hear them sound a long blast on the trumpets, have the whole army give a loud shout; then the wall of the city will collapse and the army will go up, everyone straight in."

6 So Joshua son of Nun called the priests and said to them, "Take up the ark of the covenant of the Lord and have seven priests carry trumpets in front of it." 7 And he ordered the army, "Advance! March around the city, with an armed guard going ahead of the ark of the Lord."

.....20 When the trumpets sounded, the army shouted, and at the sound of the trumpet, when the men gave a loud shout, the wall collapsed; so everyone charged straight in, and they took the city. 21 They devoted the city to the Lord and destroyed with the sword every living thing in it—...
27 So the Lord was with Joshua, and his fame spread throughout the land.

Amen.

We live by our Holy Father's powerful and faithful understanding.

Christ's understanding at work in us gives us confidence to both hear His will and to do it according to the Father's good pleasure.

The pattern begins in Genesis:

"Let there be..." — the Father's will declared.

"...and it was very good." — the Father's work accomplished.

The Dynamic Duo reveals the Father's faithfulness. His work is a labor of love, and by His grace He enables His children to share in that labor of love through faithful obedience.

That is why Scripture says:

Hebrews 6:9–10 (KJV)

"But, beloved, we are persuaded better things of you, and things that accompany salvation, though we thus speak: For God is not unrighteous to forget your work and labour of love, which ye have shewed toward his name, in that ye have ministered to the saints, and do minister."

The better things that accompany salvation are the fruit of God's work in His people. He works in us both to will and to do His good pleasure, and He remembers every labor of love done in His name.

All glory belongs to our Holy Father, who first gives the understanding of His will and then the power to accomplish it.

Yes, you are right God does not forget the work His faithful servants do.
And the more His people remain faithful & continue to do the will of God,
the more God approves of this.

And GOD loves the way His servants are selfless, caring for others,
spreading light in the darkness, illuminating every corner,
sharing the sacred love of Christ & kindness like confetti,
speaking in the language of compassion which can heal the deepest wounds of the souls of God's people,

a compassion which can touch the lives of all of God's people,
burning a little candle which will remove every ray of darkness,
giving but not taking anything in return,
uniting everyone in the bond of God's love,
& surrendering our souls to Christ.

Let your gentleness be evident to all. The Lord is near.
Philippians 4:5

Therefore, as God's chosen people, holy and dearly loved, clothe yourselves with compassion, kindness, humility, gentleness and patience.
