Gods Truth Allows Us to Choose Christs Triumph

If we did not have the truth which God lays out His love for us, we would not have a choice between good and evil. Rather Gods governance of love is shown by Him in His Word and outlined in His Royal Law of Love which tells us what is sin.

1 John 3:4
Whosoever committeth sin transgresseth also the law: for sin is the transgression of the law.

He could have said you have turned from Me and chosen the evil made manifest by Satan, and thus must be left to die for your choice, instead He told them of the plan made before the foundation of the world to redeem mankind. God explained that to defeat the power of death, an infinite atonement covering what was certain death was necessary. This atonement would restore Adam and Eve, to life through the resurrection that would give them the life eternal they had lost.

John 11:25
Jesus said unto her, I am the resurrection, and the life: he that believeth in me, though he were dead, yet shall he live:

They only had to make the choice to believe in Him who paid the price of the infinite atonement and triumphed over evil and death eternal. We find Paul rejoicing in understanding the door that was opened to him, and giving praise to God who has prepared the way and allowed us to triumph in Christ, and open the door to truth to be manifested to the ends of the earth.

2 Corinthians 2:12-17
12 Furthermore, when I came to Troas to preach Christ's gospel, and a door was opened unto me of the Lord,
13 I had no rest in my spirit, because I found not Titus my brother: but taking my leave of them, I went from thence into Macedonia.
14 Now thanks be unto God, which always causeth us to triumph in Christ, and maketh manifest the savour of his knowledge by us in every place.
15 For we are unto God a sweet savour of Christ, in them that are saved, and in them that perish:
16 To the one we are the savour of death unto death; and to the other the savour of life unto life. And who is sufficient for these things?
17 For we are not as many, which corrupt the word of God: but as of sincerity, but as of God, in the sight of God speak we in Christ.

But the choice has consequences, some smell the savor of the triumph of Christ and it is the smell of life eternal, while others who turn away savor what is death and perish, separated from God for eternity as they cease to exist.

So we have it before us, Gods truth or the adversaries substitute, and all must choose.
