Texas A & M faired pretty well.  Wish they could have gotten a little more star power, however.

Mere Nick

I don't know.  Duke probably signed some 145 lb offensive guard.

Lost Highway

Not bad.   #26 nationally overall.

A&M did better,  but I'm not too worried about that.

Here are the top 25 recruiting classes according to www.rivals.com:

1.  USC
2.  Florida
3.  Florida State
4.  Georgia
5.  Texas
6.  Penn State
7.  LSU
8.  Notre Dame
9.  Oklahoma
10.  Auburn
11.  Alabama
12.  Ohio State
13.  Michigan
14.  Miami
15.  Clemson
16.  Ole Miss
17.  UCLA
18.  Arizona
19.  California
20.  Nebraska
21.  Pittsburgh
22.  Oklahoma State (probably the biggest surprise on the list)
23.  Tennessee
24.  South Carolina
25.  Texas A&M

The way I count them here they are by conference:

SEC:  8
Big 10:  3
Big 12:  5
ACC:  3
PAC 10:  4
Big East:  1

The future looks bright for the SEC!

Bob Valentine

I was hoping that BAMA would rank higher than they did.  But Andre Smith was a great sign . . . and they got some other great players as well.

In a couple years Tim Tebow will be wishing he had signed with the Tide as well  :alert:

Shalom,
Bobby Valentine

LSU had a pretty good day, and when Keiland Williams finally signs, which he is expected to do on the last day of signing, LSU could move up to the top 5.

And to go along with what Lost Highway said look    here to see how schools over the past few years were rated at signing and then three years later how they should have been rated.

Lipscomb didn't sign a single decent football player.

Arkansas signed the top quarterback prospect, Mitch Mustain.  But I wonder if this whole thing isn't putting way too much on these kids way too early.   ::mobbed::

Weren't they only able to do that because they hired this guy's dad, or something like that?

Maryland was pretty mediocre.  Rank was 29, I believe.

Cliftyman

Kentucky got a #36 ranking, signed 2 4 star recruits and 10 3 star recruits... one of our best recruits is Micah Johnson, a stud DE and #36 on Rivals 100.

This is probably the best recruiting class KY has had in 20 years in football.

We should be able to beat more people than Miss St. and Vandy for a change this year.

It may take more than one year to develop that talent!  Remember to have patience!

Weeble

LSU finally signed the Williams kid, so we should move up a spot or two.  Now if we could only win another National Championship.

Yeah.  There's always Tennessee.   :darthvader:
