Jerry,
If I remember correctly the Global Warming folks are concerned about a 1 degree rise in temperature over the last 100 years or so.  So...if it weren't for global warming it might have been -26 this morning.

Now doesn't that make you fell better?

Seems like global warming has hit Colorado.  If it doesn't cool down and snow lots in the mountains last years fire season will not compare with this years.

That is just amazing... our winter here couldn't be milder; we have no snow on the ground at the house, very little snow in the mountains, and the forecast calls for more of the same.  We've had quite of bit of rain, though.  But the high temps have the snow level at 9,000'... too bad that our mountains around here top out at around 7,000'.  On the brighter side, I've only had to shovel the driveway once this year, and that was only about 2 or 3 inches.

Bon Voyage

I tell you what I can feel the effects of this global warming.  It is looming all across North American.  It was -25 out this morning.  I am guessing if Global Warming wasn't a factor it would have been more like -250.

Record-high 56 yesterday... I guess global warming is only happening where its warmer than normal.  Maybe you'll have "global warming" next week.

We have pipes that are starting to freeze.  If this keeps up Lake Superior may freeze over or at least a large portion and that doesn't happen very often.  Haven't had weather like this for four or five years.

After all of the cold and snow we've had this year (the latest was an additonal 3" Sunday on top of what we already had) the temperature topped 40 today. The little blacktopped road that runs by my house is finally completely clear of snow.  Rain is forcasted for tomorrow.

And a state road salt truck just ran past my window, liberally dumping its load.

Better late than never?  Although I can't figure out exactly what the salt is supposed to melt.
