Originally by Newsboys, and made known to me by ZOE group, I find this song to be amazing in how it encapsulates the story of Jesus and the Gospel message. Here are the lyrics.

I love this song too Charlie!

We sing it at church and when we get to the part:

everyone claps and cheers in excitement and enthusiasm. It really is a powerful song!

Everyone has such huge smiles on their faces when we are singing the last verse after that!  ;D

Actually, this wonderful song is not originally from the Newsboys,  It comes from a pair of guys -- Keith Getty and Stuart Townend.  Townend particularly has written a large number of contemporary songs with "old hymn-y" feel.  He tends to write deeply theological songs, like "In Christ Alone (My Hope Is Found)".
