Pretty much what you said, Kevin.  Only God knows. We don't. There have been major wars in history past that people thought were "it"  before -- WWI, WWII, for instance. We just don't know. Like you said, it's up to God.

I have a Junior High student who thinks that when war breaks out with Iraq it will be the beginning of the end and bring about Jesus' return.

What would you have said to him?  I basically told him that I don't know if that is the case or not, but I didn't think it was.  But it wasn't up to us, it is up to God.
