Welcome Roman, appreciate your convictions and the fine way you have of expressing yourself in love.  I have a lengthy history in the Nashville area, though presently am living in Florence, AL. I look forward to reading your posts to this board.

Never apologise for the length of a post.  At least, not when it's interesting   .  Just separate it into paragraphs (for the sake of readers' eyes', not necessarily for the sake of correct composition).

Wel, no, I do apologise for length sometimes... not simple length, though, but for taking five paragraphs to get across one simple concept.

Thanks for the family/school info, gives us a mental photo of you.

I ditto the "thanks for the intro" remarks.

The main thing I know about TNU is that they have a great contemporary Christian music radio station. I listen to WAYFM, too, but generally prefer the Trevecca station. There's a guy who does traffic on there, can't think of his name right now, but he is a hoot.

Thanks for FINALLY introducing yourself Ken.

And for those of you who don't know, Ken and I go to Trevecca Nazarene University together. We have one class together--Pentateuch.

That's right...Ken is in da house!  :noddingsmiley:

Hi to everyone and my apologies for waiting too long. I should have introduced myself before jumping into the fire. I don't want to bore you with too many details that are of no interest even to me on the subject of me, so I'll try to be brief.

My name is Ken Fox. I am married to a gracious woman and am the proud father of a beautiful 4 year old girl (looks just like me) and a fat, gorgous little boy (cries just like me). I'm 32 years old and have been married for 10 years. I was a graphic designer and youth pastor before coming to Trevecca Nazarene University to major in religion. I am studying to become a writer and evangelist with the emphasis of my ministry being on Holiness and God's amazing Grace which not only forgives us but holds the power through our faith to literally transform us. I am deeply convicted on issues but do not feel that conviction excuses unChristlike action or attitudes, it does however prevent me from being apathetic or middle of the road on those issues. I wish no one ill will and above all take the reputation of Christ as one of his followers very seriously. I am a believer that sometimes discomfort and honesty can accomplish more by prompting sincere self analysis than simple recreational conversation whereas change is never even the goal. Please bear with me and attempt to trust my heart. Even when my comments are blunt and sound sharp, I give you my word they are never aimed with cruelty or without love even for those who deeply disagree with them.

Please feel free to contact me anytime you feel the need. I welcome honest and concerned brothers and sisters. I even welcome accusations as long as they are accompanied with proof. Sorry for the length of this, and I pray God will be in the midst of all our discussion in regard to His Kingdom. :priest:

Thanks for the intro.  I think that will help everyone here get to know you a little better.

Oh, I was just thinking, in case you ever run across him, my brother lives about 20 miles east of Nashville and is a Christian writer and seminar speaker, as are his wife and his oldest daughter.  All three have had books published in the field of homeschooling.  His name is Clay Clarkson and he founded Whole Heart Ministries, which is basically a support ministry for Christian homeschool parents.  His wife is Sally and their oldest daughter, who just had her 1st book published, is Sarah and is 18 yrs old.

Well it appears we have already met. Thank you for the intro and welcome to the board.
