Howdy Ya'll

[Karise]

Okay, I am jealous!!! Please know you are blessed being able to go to a church with the vision that GCRCC has.

My husband, Terry, sings with Hallal on occaision.  He has always said that if they ever needed an extra counselor or minister of some sort he would go in a heartbeat.  He would love to be able to sing more often.  We will be at Streams.  Terry is the redhead that is NOT a Young!!

Glad to have you here.

Karise & Wiley, thanks for your welcome to the board.  Yes, we are very blessed to be a part of a church that both loves the Lord and preaches Grace and not Law.  That doesn't set too well with a lot of Churches of Christ, but that is ok.  I grew up in a very conservative church in West Texas, and I know the routine that is exhibited at that type of church.  I shall look forward to meeting ya'll at Stream.  Karise, I too have red hair, but I don't sing with Hallal, although Ken has asked me too.  Might have to do that soon.  I have been putting it off for a number of years.  Maybe it's time.

Charlie,

If you haven't called or gotten Stream registration info from the internet already, I would do so.  A friend of mine has just found out she can't go, but has a room already reserved should you need that.  A bunch from our church in Bay City are staying at the Howard Johnson.  You aren't there for a long time, so it is just fine.  Call Golf Course Rd or go to their website and go ahead and register.  Let us (me and Wiley) know if ya'll are coming for sure and we can all hook up!

Howdy Ya'll, I'm new to this board, but I wanted to make myself known and hopefully meet a few new Christian friends.  My name is John Bumpers, and I am from Midland, TX.  My family and I attend the Golf Course Road Church of Christ here, and we are always interested in meeting new Christians and getting to know them.  Ya'll have a great day.

Hi John.

Thanks for letting us know a little about where you are.  We will be out for Stream so maybe we will get to meet.

God bless,

Wiley

John,

I'd like to know how to join the Hallal singers. I live in Florida, so I don't know if it would be possible, but if it isn't, you're going to have to do it for me. What a wonderful experience that would be!
My wife and I are hoping to come to stream this year. I can't wait, as I've never been.

:D Charlie,  I'm not sure how you go about signing up to sing with Hallal when you live so far away.  I would suggest that you give Ken Young a call at GCR, the number is 915-694-8836
and I am sure that he would be happy to visit with you about it.  I am giving serious consideration to singing with them since I am now unemployed and have the time to do it.

Karise & Wiley, if ya'll get to come to Stream this year I would love to meet you.  We will be there.  I am so looking forward to it because I have not been able to attend the last 2 Streams.  Hope we run in to each other here.
