Phil we have had "City on a Hill" for about a year now and it is still one of my favorites.   i love "Precious Jesus" -- what a good song for communion (and we have used it around the LS before).  Jars of Clay are also great .
Thanks for the plug of something that has blessed our lives down here in the Land of the Delta Blues.

I love This Mystery. I get chills every time I hear that song.

I'm not one to spam, but I've been listening to a pre-release of the new City on a Hill CD over the last couple of days.

City on a Hill is a worship project done by some of the more modern Christian artists, including Jars of Clay, Caedmon's Call, Phil Keaggy (not so modern, but still superb), Nicole Nordeman (one of the best writers and voices in Christian music, period), Jennifer Knapp, the Choir, and more. It is true modern worship at its best.

It comes out Tuesday and I highly, highly recommend it.

Phil,

I have yet to get the first City on a Hill project, but I did want it.  Now I have two to buy.  I was glad to hear you brag on Nichole Nordeman.  I agree with you wholeheartedly!  When I am by myself and want to hear something at a high volume, I put in her "This Mystery" album.  Cool songs.  She is good in concert too!

Phil,

Thanks for the tip. I really enjoyed the first City on a Hill CD, and I do believe the second one is better. I also like This Mystery. My other favorite is The Comforter Has Come.
