I'm Charles from the cocn board long ago.I hope things are going well for you.

You are my favorite atheist but I don't agree with atheists frequenting the christian sites.

Your honesty and intelligence is something that has stuck with me.I respect what you have to say.I won't be replying to atheist posts but just wanted to say hi and wish you the best.

Thank you for the welcome, janine.  I'd hope you haven't had a grumpy thought toward me at all.  But perhaps I give myself too much credit for having made notable progress.  

The good folk from the COCN BB and I have history, you see.  If they don't wish to extend me the benefit of the doubt and give me an opportunity to redeem myself, it is understandable.  

For the record, I respect their skepticism.  I'm not much for taking anyone's word they've changed.  I wait and watch to see if there are changes.  It's only fair.

Good morning, all.

I prefer to stick with the same name across the board(s), but diana was taken and PK was too short.  (It was okay for an unregistered user, but registered users are required to have something more substantial, I guess.)  

So huntress it is.

I see, from browsing this and other forums, that there's bad blood out there, betwixt me and various members of this community.  And I can't blame you.  

A little over a year ago, a friend of mine politely pointed out that I don't seem to know how to just make a point and drop it, that after I make a point (and the point is obviously taken), I often go for the kill.  His words hurt--because he was so right.  

From that moment, I began to study the methods of those who have learned to make points without rancor, but without weakness, either.  I'm still not a master at it, and perhaps never will be, but I'm learning.

Still, if you can't forgive me and move on, I suppose that's understandable.  There's a lot of water under that bridge.

Anyhow...since the thread I did a drive-by posting or two on seems to have blossomed and I feel responses are worthy of attention, I figured I'd go ahead and make my presence on this board official.  

I was just reviewing the rules for this board:

Indeed.  The respect for diverse opinions is one of the reasons I so love this board.
