1)  Banana is being a typical Neantherthal

Rude, insulting and offensive. How about I use a stereotypical phrase for women and put "typical" in front of it. Is it funny then?!

You don't know the situation and you certainly had no right to insult all men.

Would it have been less rude, insulting, and offensive if it had said "Banana is being a typical man"?  On the contrary, by using "Neanderthal" it was implied that Banana was not acting like a typical man, but like a portion of that group.  Apparently that was lost on you and others.  Or is it rude, insulting, and offensive to imply that any men act like Neanderthals?

As a black woman who has experienced all types of discrimination and prejudice at the hands of others; I can assure you that when I posted that statement I had NO thought of being insensitive towards men.

I apologize to all I may have offended at this easy banter between two friends.  No offense was intended at any time.   ::smile::

My husband has always been attentive to my needs any day of the month.

... I've been very blessed that way.  When I have cramps, he gets me a heat pad, when my legs hurt, he rubs them, massages my legs and feet.  When I am frustrated, and I cry, he holds me.

Let me share a GREAT HUSBAND story with you.  We are from the part of America where I can see snow in the winter.  I love the snow.  My husband is in the Navy, and we have lived places where there is seldom if any snow in the winter...

Once while we lived in Washington we didn't get snow below, but up on the mountain peaks there was tons.... He took my boys and his 4X4 pickup up the mountain and brought back a LOAD of snow, He dumped it in the front yard, and he and my sons worked for hours and built me a snowman on New Years Eve.  I have pictures too!!

My guy... is quite a guy!  ::clappingoverhead::

hi
i guess to need to talk o your husband about .. there are many girly things about us that men dont understand and sometimes fear because we dont talk about these things ,,, i think it will be better if you talk
and take care , he might be easily eroused only be being near you or touching you , so he might be just trying to control himself by being distant
talk wih him and you will know
best of luck
