LOCKED thread violated by Moderator Janine

Why are locked threads being posted on by Moderators?

I know nothing about the ongoing brouhaha of the thread in question...I dove out of it long ago.  I can give you some important information that hopefully will bring at least a bit of calm to the situation.  When a thread is locked, it is locked to all but the moderators, and if a moderator does not notice the little lock he/she will be able to read, post, etc. just as normal.  It's happened before that mods didn't notice the little lock, and because they were able to post unhindered, didn't realize they were posting in a locked thread at all.  That may well be the case here, and is most likely.

Actually, I think the thread in question should be deleted altogether, and the people interested in the topic should be able to do their studying and present their arguments all over again.

Happy as I might be to have y'all think I am just too fair minded to get in a last word when others just as windbaggy as I cannot -- I knew it was locked when I laughed at the end of it.

"Only admins and moderators may post" on a locked thread.

Since it strikes shoshana rose as a violation -- I have had my evil way with the thread, I have molested the thread, I have violated the thread --

I will delete my last post off of it.

When I was a moderator in a Website I was told that I could unlock a thread and post in it and then re-lock it.

When you are a Mod here you don't have to unlock it first.  Just because it's you, you can post on a locked thread.
