I have noticed that we are able to hide a url under descriptive words, so that when the reader clickes on the words, it takes them to the web page. How can I do that?

Rick,
If I try to show you how to do it you won't be able to see it!!!
Open bracket followed by url=, followed by web address, followed by close bracket, followed by the words that the other users will see, followed by open bracket /url close bracket.  Here's an example but you'd need to leave out the spaces.

[ url = web address   ]  "click here"  [ /url  ]

"click here" is what the others will see.  You should be able to test it before you post it.  At least you could at NR.

See you can teach an old dog new tricks :)  My daughter taught me that over at NR.
And I am going through a mid life crisis.  For me the "9's" are always the worst!!! yikes!

Thanks. And Sheryl says to tell you she is hitting the "big 5-0". LOL
