What do you look for in a girlfriend/boyfriend?

Basherbelding, it's been a long time since I've sought a boyfriend, but qualities that I'd look for are:

a strong relationship with the Lord Jesus Christ
honesty
integrity
good sense of humor
a hard worker
a goal setter (one who has dreams and a plan to see them fulfilled)
loves animals and children
unselfish
generous
neat appearance

guess that's enough for now...

It's been an awful long time for me too -- hard to believe, we'll be married 27 years this summer.

What I would look for if I were single now (God forbid) is not exactly the same list of stuff I might have looked for as a young woman.  I was young.


I also have to think from the point of view of a mother -- what I hoped my kids might find for spouses, the pleasant things about the two they've found so far, all that influences me when I start making a list.

But, anyway, here's my list:

*God-lover
*lively mind
*good steward and generous (two sides of the same coin -- pun intended!)
*reasonably healthy, if possible
*patient
*musical
*wild about me

Oh dear, I wasn't intending to be funny and was being perfectly serious.  Yet another case of Brit/US miscommunication.  My boss is a Texan and it happens all the time; the only thing that keeps me in employment is my Brit accent.  Lesson learned: don't look for an American wife!!

Prince like features... Loves books, art and music, patient and always calm, always shares what he has in my in a funny way.

Someone who i can reflect my spirituall needs like for everyday and will educate me more about Jesus... in short he shall be a God lover (a Christian)

or many more... But I'm just fine with His love for God to rule everything.
