QuoteSure, lots of them.  Start with,

Why did God, who is supposedly perfect, create a world that was is not?

And don't give me any answers out of some book written by a bunch of Jews two to three thousand years ago.

Once you get by that one, we can move on from there.

This is not an atheist question? This a question clarifying things about God's attributes and character.

Atheist suppose to ask questions that should start like; if there is a God.

That guy believe that there is a God and is pretending that there is none to make argument. In short not a christian just like my father but when in grave danger or in deep trouble he called unto God. ::smile::

Ok here is an atheist question

A common religious concept is that something can not come from nothing (despite recent expirements showing that it can). So you say that in the terms of an old earth god MUST have created the universe. However I would say this is equally, maybe even more unlikely than another hypothesis because god would need a creator.

We have no really good evidence for multiple universes, daughter universes etc, however because there is no scientific evidence for these things, they are as equally likely as god, just as every other thing I could think of that could have created our universe

-The christian god is so statistically improbable, that we may as well assume he does not exist, we don't go around assuming ducks can speak do we?

Charles Sloan

But despite evolution being statistically impossible it is considered scientific and rational.

I will take faith over foolishness any day. (Psa 14:1)

Just because one scientist says it is, doesnt mean it is.  Even in that wiki article there are counter claims. One must be careful of making a blanket statement charles, unless you have the means to back it up.

And Charles while I am not a fan of the CoC (Their commerials pushed me away) I do agree with your comments.

If your talking about the CoC as in the "Churches of Christ", I am not affiliated with that group.

Whew I am glad to hear that.  I like you brother...lol.

Then show to them what the bible says that God is from everlasting to everlasting, no beginning and no end and we; humans are just prisoners of this sin infested world.

What they are saying is from what they observed inside time in other word a human point of view and reasoning.
The correct is; if there is a created thing there must be a creator with no beginning and no end. Otherwise people will die but the chicken egg thing will never be answered and that makes the atheist stupid though claiming themselves wise.

However; there is no point in arguing with atheist at all becuase the truth is written in their hearts but they dont believe no matter what that is why they called atheist. I dont want to judge others but i will make exeption with this one. Atheist in my definition means doomed. ::beatingdeadhorse:: ::beatingdeadhorse::

So you are saying just because some book written hundreds of years ago says god is an exception to your rule of everything needs to be created. That gets you off the hook. Thats like me writing a book now, claiming a giant squirrel the size of the sun uses the earth to hide its nuts, and people in 2000 years believing it.

Then you compare it to the chicken and egg? then call me stupid? Despite you showing me that circular logic? Your inability to grasp the most fundamental cocept of science makes me think i shouldnt be takingtheologicial advice from you if you think we know as little as we do of the chicken and egg as we do the universe.

Your argument boils down to- to human reasoning the universe needs to be created, but god is eternal so it doesnt matter.

Problem is, your notion of god being eternal is human reasoning. The reasoning of men that lives 2000 years ago

Its also nice to know that you once again insert human reasoning into the equation by judging me, even though god told you not to.

God has his reasons for humans not judging others, yet you once again rely on your own reasoning and judge someone.

Frusterating isn't it

OneLung

An Atheist is someone with an incontrovertible belief that God cannot exist.  By both philosophical and scientific standards, an Atheist is a fool.  An Agnostic is someone who accepts the possibility of God's existence, but believes that Man is inherently incapable of knowing.  Sometimes, deeply religious people incorrectly label Agnostics as Atheist. And sometimes, Agnostic's incorrectly label themselves as Atheist.

That is not an atheist answer either.  ::smile::

Is the teaching of evolution only for people who can't think straight and logically ?

For example....the other day while watching a nature program, they told about a fish whose eyesight could only see the difference between light and darkness....back in its evolutionary beginings.

My first thought was...if it took thousands of years before that fish was able to make out shapes and sizes.......what did it eat , or escape being eaten.....while waiting for those changes to occur ?

So, you think the same fish has lived for thousands of years?  Have you been drinking?

What is so evil about being associated with the coc?  or with Jimmy Swaggart? or with the Reverend Moon? I don't catch the connection you were making.
