Never take your own revenge, beloved, but leave room for the wrath of God, for it is written, " Vengeance is Mine, I will repay," says the Lord. ::amen!::

May everyone have a great day.

Te Deum

An excellent verse on which to meditate.  It is one that always leaves me slightly confused as well.  I decided to do a Google search and I found a short comment in the Haydock's Bible Commentary:

QuoteVer. 19. Give place to wrath. That we do, says St. Chrysostom, when we leave all to God, and endeavour to return good for evil

It's so important to leave everything to God, but it can be so difficult at times too.
