Good afternnoon all...
A lil introductions, Im new obviously. Im 29, single, divorced, 4 children ages 3,5,7 and 9. I live in a rural town in Maryland, very lovely place by the way  ::smile::. I've been living here for a lil more than a year after moving from Annapolis.

After I moved I didnt have my church home near by and was reluctant to try any other churches. I finally did, not too long ago and I love the ppl there. I am very blessed to have them im my life.
::preachit::

So why am I here asking someone to be an accountability partner if I have such a great church home you maybe asking. Well, I dont get out much and I dont use the phone much since our world is now accessible through our finger tips. I text, email and IM mostly.  ::help::

I have recently started making alot of changes in my life and I just need somoene that can be a pen pal basically. Looking for someone that may also be in a similar situation or just came out of somethin that they want accountability for.  ::amen!::

I have been struggling with my sexual needs and wants even though I am no longer married. I have been divorced since 2002 and never really stopped having sex with my kids fathers. 4 kids- 3 fathers. I was faithful to them at the times that we were involved but now that they have moved on and have other children, wives and girlfriends they still want to come to me for that "comfort".  ::pondering::

Not gonna go into detail but my sons father is my ex husband and he and I have never tried to rekindle our relationship and I havent been intimate with him since we were married, it's the other 2 that I struggle with and my ex boyfriends.  ::shrug::

So if perhaps you dealt with this problem in the past and you are willing to be an ear or shoulder please let me know. ::clappingoverhead::

I have started reading Every woman's battle by Shannon Ethridge and I kissed dating goodbye by Joshua Harris and I am making those changes in my life 1 day at a time.  ::disco::

Thank you for taking the time to read this.  ::reading::
God Bless

It is very sad to see that I have 51 views on this post and yet no one has made an effort to respond or comment. No words or encouragement or prayers. Makes me wonder how many "so called Christians" are on this site.

mamaqs4, I will pray for you.  I didn't really know how to respond to you.
You said you were:
QuoteLooking for someone that may also be in a similar situation
I'm sorry, but my situation seems to be very different than yours.
I will pray for you.  I do admire the fact that you are trying to turn your life around.

I was meant to say may have been in my situation at some point not currently. I don't need someone just as weak as me giving me advice.
I thank you for your prayers and concerns and someday I plan to be free of my sexual sins.
I just recently finished reading Every Woman's Battle by Shannon Ethridge, it was very good. Every day is going to be a battle ::frustrated:: but I will lean on Jesus and overcome it with His help.  ::amen!::

Well, Mamaqs4,

I just read this this minute.
I was 29 once and I'm still female.  I also spent a summer near Ocean City -what was it now - a small town Berlin?
I wonder if I'd be able to correspond with you.
Thank God I have no libido anymore and am not muddled in all that
hormone, chemistry, drama, love stuff, anymore. :)  YAY!!   I'm free. Sorry...I digress.

I'd have to know a bit more about you - I know you're pretty, vulnerable, hot, probably an Aries -kidding..  I say this because no one has that many children unless they are attractive to the opposite sex.   But makes no difference if you're homely --men like you and pick up that you are available to them.  Why there were no contraceptives used, I don't know and I don't care.    Doesn't seem as the if the children are a burden - you didn't mention it.  Good, if that's the case.

I begged my best friend to do something after the third child - she didn't she now has 7.   She had to go on welfare because of no child support, the bums.
Finally for health reasons she had her tubes tied. Whew. And of course she raised them alone ---accept the first 3 had child support from her 'turned gay ex-husband' who's a gem among men.

I say all of this for you to get to know me a little ---you may not want to talk with me.  I'm not a dear Abby with all the answers but -I'm a pretty smart cookie --at least that's what I'm told.

Nothing is more important to me than the Lord. If you need an ear or a shoulder or advice ---I can give you my time and help - it would be an honor.
We can even exchange emails - I don't care or have everyone join in.

That is my opening post to you if you are still here. My other qualification would be that I have been in therapy and most of my friends are therapists - I've helped them pass their state licensing exams in different states even ---I've been around the block a few times.

Let's see if I could offer "any" help. ---Read some of my posts to get a
"feel" for me.

I would start with what version of the Bible do you have and read from?
I'd like for you to memorize 1 John 5:14-5 ---brand it on your heart.

You're doing great to even have asked for a friend,
:) Elaine

I commend you mamaqs4 for your honestly. Many Christians go through struggles with sin. with God's grace and mercy we can come boldly to the throne of God and ask for forgiveness and help. However, know that God knows your heart and your intentions.

Jesus said many times to go and sin no more. Once God shines light on our darkness (sin) we are to pray and ask God to help us with it. The more you are in the Word the less distractions will be with men. I think if we all know what hell is like and who go there (including lukewarm Christians), we would resist the devil and flee from sin. We need to have the fear of God then can we overcome alot of our sins.

Know that God is not pleased with anyone who have sex before marriage. those who die in their sins go to hell...period. Please continue to seek help in having a female friends who you can trust and talk to.

Contact me. I fellowship with a few woman who are going through it with men and trying to get right with their life.

I don't agree with everything that you said but thank you for your post.

I believe that I am going to heaven regardless if I am "in " sin or not. Yes the goal and purpose is to flee sin and follow Jesus' example but He knows that we can't be as perfect as He is.
I do not believe that "lukewarm" christians go to hell either. Yeah they may not be walking as upright as they could but that is where the many mansions falls into play, i believe. You may get a mansion I may get a townhouse, someone else may get an out house. I maybe wrong on this analogy but that was what I was taught. I am not saying that we should continue to sin and settle for a townhouse. By all means I want my mansion. lol If I cant have it in this life then I'd like it in the next.
