Hey,

I'm new here, but here's my story.

I've been going out which I thought was my soul-mate, but last week see broke up with me for not being christian.
So one night I prayed (i don't like to pray i thought it was selfish), but I did it for us.
I asked God to give me a sign, a 10 minutes later he gave me an answer to my question (about why Jesus had to die).
I was like WOW! I had this question in my head for years and it's finally answer.
So now I'm believe in christ, and I told my girlfriend, but said "I prayed to god to make you christian, even though it may mean you and I not being togther"
(so a meaning no)

Well now she is interested in a guy already, and that hurts a lot, but I know deep down we are meant to be.
I'm giving her space, and I think maybe if she goes out with this guy, she will notice that we were perfect for each other.

I think she afraid, because I never felt this way for anyone before.

So my questions are
Why do you think god is giving us two different signs?
Should I stay strong and wait for her?
Should I stop praying or do you think God will answer me?

P.S.
The reason i never tried Christianity 9as we were going out) was because i didn't want anything to mess it up.
I know it was stupid but, I'm praying to god every hour.

P.S.S.
thanks!  ::angel::

"Say yes to him!"

Don't seek the place, no matter what do not seek the place. Seek him. Keep him first. Seek after him, do not worry about the blessing. Know that "HE" will supply your needs. "HE" will give you the desires of "your" heart and David isn't the only one saying it. Christ said it too. If you belief that Chirst is the head of your life, Then know that he's on your side. He got you and he won't let you down.

"Continue to say yes to him."

God is concerned about his relations with you. You did not call him, he called you! He loved you and called you by any means possible(even a brake up). Not to sound cold but God wants you to seek him NOT her. Grow in God and read you Bible daily, he called you for a reason. As you think of her less and less you will grow more in the lord. This is all done in God love...trust that

u are being seen as a Christian freak, and nobody likes a religious freak, goody good two shoes.

More bitterness and anger, what is your problem then?

I wouldn't bother with her if you just broke up and already she is interested in somebody else!  I think if she were truly in love with you or cared about you deeply then she would be sad and not thinking about anyone else, certainly not so quickly.  I was in love with my ex and couldn't think about another guy ...it's been a year and finally I think I might be ready, but to this day I stillllll think about him...wonder how he is....if he'll call...if he'll email.  If she really cared, she would not get over you so quickly.  Don't waste your time on someone who doesn't care for you deeply and someone who broke up with you.

Totally agree with this. if she is already interested in someone else then that is not a good sign really.

You say you pray and believe in Jesus already? Then here is my 2 cents advice to you; there are so many girls around millions of them but there is only one Jesus if you met Jesus because of this girl thank her but love Jesus more.

I never really experienced that strong love to anyone and i never cried to anyone either but I cried for my love to Jesus; the sad part though is i am always unfaithful to this love this what hurts me most.  ::hug::

You had a great opportunity for a relationship with a Christian woman and you didn't have a relationship with Christ? Don't you know that in a Christian relationship you can't be unequally yoked? Having a relationship with Christ means the world of difference, it is necessary to have him in your life. When you get it in with Christ, surrender to him. Pursuing a Christian relationship isn't easy, you will be rejected.

NeonZ

The guarantee you have in the pursuit is disappointment, rejection, and failure. You were rejected by that woman, it's going to stop with her it will grow. You can expect that other men will have the favor over you. You will have times where you will ask God why it had to happen this way? Where did it go wrong? You will take in offenses. The enemy will play with your mind. Having a relationship with Christ will give you strength to stand up to that rejection.

NeonZ

Me personally, if it wasn't for Christ, I'd probably be O.Ded somewhere or on my way to Hell because I didn't feel I was worth the investment on any woman that I liked and therefore asked what was the point in living if you can't be loved by the people you loved. Men desired to be loved too, unfortunately it will not always go to you.
