Yes, I have been tremendously blessed by witnessing the power and the grace of God in my own life as well as the lives of others. God has proven his love to me time and time again even when I sin against him or loose my focus. The most vivid examples of seeing God work and testimonies from my friends as well as personal experiences that I have had on mission trips. When I was twelve years old, I went on a mission trip with my Dad to Santa Cruz, Bolivia in South America. Being the youngest on the trip and very nervous, I had no idea what to expect and spent most of my time watching others use thier bibles and a tool called the EvangeECube to tell the story of Jesus to the people in the small neighborhoods, walking from home to home. Over the course of that week, using the willingness of the small team of Americans God used their efforts to draw over 500 people to him who accepted him as thier Savior and became Christians. Of these 500 people, three of them were deeply involved in witchcraft and were a threat to our American team when we first arrived in thier city. However, after seeing the people in thier community put thier lifes in Christ's control, these practicers of witchcraft softened thier hearts and let us talk to them and eventually turned from thier former ways and made Christ the Lord of thier lives- something that I consider a true miracle.

Have I seen God at work?  All the time.  ::clappingoverhead::

....every day.

Well, only  those days that I'm paying attention.

Unfortunately, no I have never experience God in way that I know for sure it is God, the experiences are never literally.   I don't know of anyone that has experience God in an objective way either.

The experiences of God today is basically that warm and fuzzy feeling you have,  like... "Oh Oh...smell the roses...mmm.."  or "I saw Jesus in my toast."  rofl

It's nothing like the stories in the bible where you can experience God directly, like..."Zap!!!!! Your dust"    ::noworries::

It would do some of us good to experience, or atleast hear some good stories of real experiences with God, (but not the God zapping us kind of experience, I could do without that), and please not the warm and fuzzy feeling kind either ... ::frown::...  ::pondering::

I do trust this, that He's working whether I see it or not and for that I am very grateful and like HR said on those times I pay attention, I can see it and am really grateful.   He's such an awesome God and were He not at work, I'd sure be in big trouble.    The thing is, I might not always see it as a God thing or a good thing, sometimes the very painful times could be Him working in me like the scriptures talk about and thats where trust in Him is SO important.  Just always know He's there, He loves you and wants what is best for you.   Good topic.  Thanks

My aunt last year was diagnosed with a aggressive form of cancer.  Not sure what type but I can find out.   Anyway after multiple churches praying, and my dad praying with her, she calle 2/13/09 to tell us that she is cancer free.  She had gone from 6 months to live to cancer free.  Trust me GOD does work miricles.

Forgot to say, she was a non believer at the time.  She now admits that GOD is the reason she lives.

I see God at work every day, in my life and other peoples lives. Sometimes, when I'm unwell it's harder to see him at work and be greatful for it than it is when I am well.

That is the most awesome testimony! Thank you.

I see God at work every day.Two of my children who are both young adults came back to God 18 months ago and the change in their lives has been amazing. Things that they used to do have lost their appeal, they are trusting God in amazing ways, God had healed them in amazing ways also ands one of them in particuler has a big calling on his life and will probably be working for God full time, either as a pastor, teacher or evangelist. I sit back in amazment at what God is doing for them in them and through them.
Four years ago I was divorced, alone, in a very dark tunnel of sadness, debt and illness, and now I am happily married to a wonderful man, my kids have a wonderful step dad, and we are both being blessed so much.God truly does restore to us ALL that we have lost and so much more.he really does do far over and above all that we could ever think of, ask for or pray for.
he deals bountifully with us. His love is overwhelming and extravagent.   ::clappingoverhead:: ::bowing::

God has done so much for me I cannot even know where to begin. I will tell this though. 12 years ago , I met a teen on the street. She had just been thrown out by her boyfriend and had no where to go and no parents. She  looked perfectly normal and you would have never known she was in a homeless shelter. I had an extra room in an apartment my parents had given up and took her in free of charge.

I was put down by many people who knew me, called names, accuse of you can quess what and asked by many who knew my family to throw her out.

People made up bad rumors about her and said she was doing drugs..etc..some of my own family told me to throw her out.

Later I found out she suffered from bi-polar and was always crying. It was from a horrible childhood with bad parents..It was more than I could take, everyday I would get a call something was emotionally wrong. I left work many times to get her out of bad situations.

Everyday people who knew my family wanted her thrown out the building.  One day she left the front door open(she has bad concentration ) and the house was robbed. Everyone said she robbed me and set it up.
Only I knew it was not true. Again God told me do not give up on her.

I still would not abandon her, I saw the good in her.  She lived with me for 3 years. Then a miracle happened and she got her own place from a top doctor who helped her in his mental illness facility. Here is an Amazing twist!.

Almost 5 years later I lost my place due to a fire and had no where to. This same girl let me stay with her for as long as I wanted totally free.

She has became a Chrisitan, learned the deaf ministry sign language and we worship together and speak everyday when I am in the usa.

She is my sister from Christ. Everyone knows her as my sister. It is now 12 years later and she is my closest family member and  just as close as my blood sister .
Over the 12 years she has made me a better Christian and she has brought others into the family of God. I can take no credit for any of this it was the still voice of God that told me again and again do not give up on her. All praise to God.

I forgot to complement on this testimony. Truly God works in mysterious ways and He always prepare everything for us in advance.

Tomorrow will be one week since I have full responsibility of my elderly mother with blown dementia. The mother I ran away from at 18 because she was soooo mean and evil and continued that through my adult life. The mother that tortured my dying father as only Bette Davis could have done on celluloid.
The mother I have protected my sister from for 20 years bec if she spent 2 days with her would take 2 months to recuperate after hours of sobbing bec of the emotional abuse and after at least one full blown panic attack.

If I told you all here the moment to moment miracles in this "take over" - most of you could not comprehend the silent,  secret,  whispers of grace ---I don't even know if most of you here are subtle enough to comprehend the sweet, delicate, superbly orchestrated divine moments of perfection.

This is not to insult some of you - but as anyone can read here ---there are some that are not attuned to the finely tuned weavings of the Lord's magic.
Maybe lost in legalism, dogma, lower ego self, one upmanship, low self esteem, self absorption.

Like smoke that comes out of a Jeannie's lamp - the Lord of all Creation moves His Baton -and for those absorbing the breath of life that He gives you  into your lungs knowing the deliciousness of that inhalation --- only you know what I am talking about.

The sharing of those sweet intimate moments of the my Creator's tender, loving, ecstatic, softness might be lost on most here.

If this inspires someone to fine tune their awareness to the tender feel of our God's Touch ---so be it.

But to share here even one miracle - I don't think it would be believed quite honestly.

Those that might be offended by this post -you know who you are. And those that are not and are drinking in my words to further your growth like a vine to Him wrapping yourself around Him more- you know who you are.

Thank you to all my pm frends  - haven't had time to write.

Hi Kid,

Nice to see you back online. Perhaps your six-month stint with us has better prepared you to deal with someone suffering from dementia.  ::bueno::

Just make sure to keep an eye on yourself too so you don't let yourself get over-stressed.
