I too have plans to see it...lol.   I have the complete serires and have been following this one on a horror movie website that I visit a lot.

OK just saw the movie.  Very predictible.  When you saw all the actors you knew who whould die, who woyuld remove clothes, and who that strange guy behind the mask was.  Although predictible, and not truley a remake, I thought it was better than Rob Zombies remake of Halloween.  What did you think of it OneLung?

I was amazed, I saw Friday the 13th on opening night. I was surprised at how much nudity/language there was, but it was very realistic and the bloody graphics were amazing!! I LOVED IT<3

well the nudity and language are a Friday the 13th staple.  But yes the kills were somewhat realistic, although from the director from Transformers I expected more than 13 kills...lol.

I am reconsidering whether to see it now.

out of most of the re-makes I have seen (halloween, The Day The Earth Stood Still, April Fools Day, Prom Night, and many others.) it is near the top.  But I still like the original better.  I like that it is not as campy (No pun intended) as many others in the series.
