Single and am wondering if it is okay to post on this issue

I looked over the rules and noticed that discussion on sexual matters is permitted in your marriage forum, but I wanted to find out if discussion similar to that is okay in the singles forum before I post anything. I won't post anything explicit, but I need input from other believers and I don't want to approach a pastor. I also don't want to go to a secular site and post about it.
