I watched American Outlaws[/i] for a second time last night on a movie chan... just for you.

I've seen Frank & Jesse[/i] too.  Made for one of the movie chan's... I think.  

As for F&J[/i]... much more realistic and probably the finest performance I've ever seen given by Rob Lowe.  Bill Paxton lends some more credibility. I think this writer really did his homework. I'd give it my Rental rating--it's worth a few bucks to check it out on video.

AO[/i] was a lot of Hollywood fluff.  I could tell what they were hoping for... they wanted it to be a Young Guns[/i] for the new decade, but it just didn't gel.  After the beginning of the film, not much is accurate.  All that said, Colin Farrell was a whole heckuva lot of fun to watch as Jesse and Ali Larter was kinda cool as Jesse's wife.  Otherwise the film just stunk.   I give it my second lowest rating-- CATV meaning if you got nothin' better to do and it's on TV it ain't a total waste of time.

[Bon Voyage]

The story of Frank & Jesse James.  

They go back to the family farm and their little brother is murdered.  They go out to seek justice and rob banks and trains and stagecoaches.  The railroads send Pinkerton after the James gang to be brought to justice for the robberies.

Good movie.  A lot better than American Outlaws.  

I just picked it up at walmart for less than 6 bucks.

I give it an A
