So I'm almost 27 and never had a relationship.  I've had guys like me in the past in high school but I didn't take them seriously because of low self-esteem issues and we hung out in different crowds and all.  Now it seems like pretty much everyone I know is either in a serious relationship, married or having families.  I know everything has a time and place but it just gets so frustrating.  I'm in college and have been getting to know people through my major.  Not too long ago I was becoming friends with a guy and confessed to him I was into him but sadly got rejected cause he was into someone else but we're still friends.  How do you guys deal with it?

You mean guys aren't lining up to date a pro-gay, pro-abortion communist?

Go figure...

Girl for God

LittlePinky82 - I would say surround yourself with friends  ::groupprayer::, focus on God  ::prayinghard:: - even more than you do now - and trust that He will make it all better  ::amen!::. I'm 27, out of college, work as an elementary teacher, a place where guys are almost obsolete, so I must trust God to bring the man He wants for me into my life. He actually gave me a nice, long talking to  last night on the subject and how I have to trust Him and rely on Him to make something happen and not to rush things - also remember to go to God first, He created you and the life He has for you. I remember hearing: "Wait for me to open the door and you will walk into it perfectly." That was awesome b/c if I try to open the door before I'm ready/out of His timing, then I'll be doing nothing but breaking down a door and hurting myself   in the process and maybe ruining what is on the other side. Just know you are not alone in this. It seems that many singles are struggling with this currently.  ::pondering:: I'll keep you in my prayers! God bless!  ::smile::
