Smileys???

I hope this is not a dumb question and that it has not been asked a million times...but I could not find the answer so here it goes....
How do I add the above smileys to my posts? When I click on one , the words show up but not the picture...

Not sure I understand the question. If you are saying that when you are typing out a post and add the smiley it shows up as words so you do not post it. If that is the case then hit the preview button and it will show if the smiley worked then you can post it. If you are saying that you posted it and the smiley did not show up then I am not sure how to help. It should have showed up.

Ok..When I click on one of the smileys...it shows up with 4dots thename of the smiley(e.g winking)and then 4 dots...when I do the preview the smiley is still not showing up...
I will do a test here to see...

Just for if you did not know. When you hit the preview button you will have to scroll up to see it in a different box above this one you are replying in.
