Is there a block or ignore button available?

   There is.Look through the profile section.  I think it may be there somewhere but I am not sure for I have never locked anyone.

Can't you just not read the posts you don't want to read? Or the PMs?

As far as I know there is no block button. You must exercise self control, skipping over the posts of those you would like to block.

I actually used a program (I was asked by the admin not to mention it openly) to block a certain persons posts.

It was funny cause WS had to explain who some posters were replying to, I had forgotten I blocked him...
