Hello All

Thank you for welcoming me to the boards and sharing your insights with me.  I just wanted to say how thankful I am.

We have also fixed a date for our wedding.  Sunday, March 21st.   ::clappingoverhead::I am also to be Baptized on Sunday, March 14th.   ::clappingoverhead::

We are both so happy and excited.

We told our Pastor on Sunday and he announced it.  The love was amazing.  Everyone, I mean every single person, in our (albeit small) congregation lined up to hug us and thank God.  We had just planned to have our service during regular service and go home but our Brothers and Sisters had other plans.  We now have two chefs taking charge of food, a hairdresser, a videographer, a singer and a florist doing our flowers.  I didn't expect anything like this. I was truly humbled.

I thank God through our Lord Jesus Christ.

Sorry Rachel. I sincerely hope that your marriage is as happy and blessed as our second marriage is. Second marriages can have more stress and difficulties than first ones, and that is why Christians in second marriages need all the support and prayers they can get. Sadly they dont always get it, but believe me, our second marriage is far far far better then our first, even with all the extra complications.
Its gets better and better. My husband says that he is happy and content for the first time in his life and he is 53. I am so thankful that God has used me to help that to happen.
God Bless

Oh, that's okay.  Not your fault  ::smile::  Thank you for your good wishes.  I feel the same way.  As 'young' as our marriage is; I know that God had this as a plan.  I struggle with the 'second marriage' thing.  But God wouldn't have given us something so wonderful if He didn't want us to be together.  God is using us to enrich each others lives.  It's taking some getting used to the idea though!  ::smile::

God Bless you both, in Jesus name.

Rachel, dont struggle with being in a second marriage, you are blessed to have a second chance as we are. I have never felt guilty about it and have always known complete peace about it. God clearly led me to my husband as I am sure he did you as well.
Dont allow Satan to ever make you feel guilty about something that God has given you.ENJOY IT!!!! ::smile:: ::clappingoverhead::
