LOL!!  Usually I am so oblivious to everything but yesterday I went to get some grocery items and ended up in the line of the Extremely Handsome Checker :)  I didn't notice anything until he said "nice hat" (I was wearing my blue camo hat with a bling cross on it), then I almost fell over to see a good looking, Christian and single guy!  Seemed very nice too, we talked a bit.  I may have to go back to that store again  ::disco::

I always have thought that single, my age and Christian were hard to come by but who knows!

rofl   Did he have a "Horse face?" I sure got to laughing over this.

Well there you go, you never know what will happen next in life, or what God has 'in store'.

fassopony

Larry!!  NO!!  LOL!!

You're right, Chosenone, although I doubt anything will come of it :)

You never know with God, He has all sorts of surprises up His sleeve.............I mean who would have thought that he would find me a husband with the same name as my dog! Also we both have a son with the same first and middle name! God definately has a sense of humour.

fassopony

Same as your dog??  LOL!!  That is funny!

I like reading the posts about how you and your husband met :)

Ahhh thanks. Thats sweet of you. It was one of those 'God-incidence' situations with one strange thing after another happening. Did you know we met via the internet on a christian dating site?

Sadly that dog died last year, but you know they were SO alike in character and personality it was uncanny. My husband was like the human version of the dog, and they even looked alike, both being tall and slim with long legs.lol.
Also he didnt like dogs much when we met, but the dog won him over, and we now have another lovely rescue dog (my 5th).

Yes, I do remember reading that :)  And, your daughter too?

Rescue dogs are the best-est dogs!

It was my son, who met his fiance on another site. She is really lovely.

Yes rescue dogs are the best by far. We had 2 when I was a child, and as I said, our present dog, Ellie, is my 5th. She is a saluki cross and is very pretty. We are always being stopped when we are out with her, by people wanting to know what breed she is and them saying how pretty she is etc. Its really sweet. I just adore dogs, we can learn such a lot from them. She is only  2 1/2 and we are her 3rd home. Bless her.

Yeah them dogs are great. When you're young you can teach them to paw the ground twice when you ask them what one and one is. That way when you age and forget and think the answer is two ones, that rescue dog will straighten you out by pawing twice. Yeah Ellie, you're such a good old chow hound.

yes Larry, dogs gave such a lot to teach us, such as how to be content with the little things in life, how to enjoy simple things, faithfullness and unconditional love and forgiveness. They are so easy to please and so uncomplicated.
I am SOOO looking forward to seeing them all in heaven, all 7 of them. Tammy who was sadly run over as a 9 month old puppy, Katie, Pip, Sally, Annie, Rod and of course Ellie when she dies.

Ecclesiastes 3:21  Who knoweth the spirit of man that goeth upward, and the spirit of the beast that goeth downward to the earth? Sorry, but are you going to come back and dig them up?  ???

Wont need to, they are already there. I heard this amazing story about a lady who loved her dogs, several of whom had died. She was very very ill, and actually died (ie her heart stopped beating) and went to heaven before she was revived. The first thing that met here there was her beloved dogs running to meet her. She was amazed and overjoyed. Just like God, I thought, to know what we want to see when we get to heaven. Bless Him.
