Clueless?????

OK...so like I know this cute girl at church.
She is in my Sunday School class...she is new in town with few friends yet. She is making them but it takes time.

There is also a Guy who has recently started joining our class of singles and coming to church at my church.

This guy had been dating a girl and bringing her along...they weren't of the same water level and so...first chance he got he dumped her. She was a wacko anyway.

Now this cute girl obviously to me has a crush on this guy. (neither of them is all that ugly)

Sunday two weeks ago he sat next to her as the seats were filling up and he wanted to chat to me. The girl was chatting up a storm till the moment he walked into the classroom and then we couldn't get another peep out of her...not a word. Obviously she was nervous beyond belief.

He meanwhile was clueless....every time he is in the same room with her she gets quiet. I don't think he knows she can talk and be personable. LOL

I suggested to him that he ask her out on a date. He hasn't yet...even tho she is cuter and nicer than his last girlfriend.

I think he is doubting he can date her. *sigh*

Oh to those of you who see yet do not observe....

Maybe he does not have much interest in her, but yea its a shame if he thinks she is cute but unsociable due to her being quiet. Maybe jumping in and asking her out on a date is too big a leap if he has barely talked to her yet. Try to orchestrate them chatting, he hee..they could at least maybe start a friendship.

Yes its true that others can sometimes see that someone likes us well before we even figure it out. Maybe its cos alot of us have pretty bashed up self esteem and its hard to think that someone finds us attractive. Also the person could be good at hiding it from us for fear of getting rejected/embarressed, but they are not so guarded in front of other 'bystanders'.
