my porn addiction lead me to the adult freind finder homepage. I did not set up a profile or search for another women, i realized that if i continued it would be so wrong, as i adore my wife. i closed it out and never returned. my wife found it on my history and now we are history. i wish i could show her that i stopped because i love her, but that point is mute. please help me with any advise, and keep my family in prayer.

Are you separated now? Any children? I think you might want to question how much you adore your wife if you are looking at pornography. Obviously you have to stop that. Yes it might be an addiction but it is a sin and a betrayal to your wife.

carwhipsperer: Many men have a strong ability to compartmentalize. Basically, it means we can do things that to others would seem completely contradictory and not see why. This can be good sometimes, a good leader needs to be able to compartmentalize so he doesn't let is emotions override what is right. It can also can be bad some times. It's quite likely that jsnoke really does love his wife.

That sounds like the sort of site that can get on your computer as as some sort of pop up.  I've even seen similar sites advertised on these very message boards.
