I wrote an OP about "the sting of death" and it took just a few minutes to be moved from the General Discussion Forum to the Theology Forum.  Now, while IMO, it was not a "theological debate" OP, I remained quiet and bowed to the will of the Mods.  I was not/am not upset that it got moved.  Hey, if the Mod(s) thought it should be, then, OK.

However, I see that an OP "Once Saved Always Saved" has been on the General Discussion Forum for several days now.

Really? No, seriously, really?  How is it possible that an OP which is nothing BUT Theological Ideology acceptable for the General Discussion Forum?

I understand that moving OP's is the discression of the Mods, but, is there ANY standard?

Again, not complaining,  ::smile::, I love you guys and the work you do, but this is a true mystery.  Will we accept OP's on the GDF about women in leadership positions also?  How about water baptismal?  Are these ok too?

What is the STANDARD?  Is there one?  I truly want to know because I do not visit the Theology Forum for personal reasons and when an OP is moved there, I never see it or the responses again..........

Please understand, I am not upset whatsoever, I just want to have some understanding of the guidlines Mods use to determine if they are going to move an OP.

God bless..............

Have you ever gotten that feeling to just pack up and go somewhere for the weekend? What causes that? Other equivalents might be the urge to use the facilities at a rest stop. Why do we one time elect to have a Coke and another a Pepsi instead? On any given opportunity to do something I may do it differently; do you know why? I don't either so just put up with it.

So, basically, you just told me to "SHUT-UP?"   rofl  (......sigh......so much for that there christians love and understanding thingy huh.....................)   ::giggle::

OK, so try THIS ONE on for size:  I've noticed several times when we get around 400 guests logged in and some 20 odd members (not that they are odd, just a hypothetical number............well, there are a couple ya know.............) signed in, it becomes almost impossible to post any comments and if you "hit refresh" the 'puter will go blank to a white screne and you can't even log back on until several people log off................SO, the question is:

Is 400 or so about the capacity that GCF can manage?  No complaint, just trying to educate myself.................  ::smile::

I haven't figured out why the forum goes off line at times like that. We are in the midst of switching to a new server, if not already completed. Admin seems to be working day and night attempting to work out the bugs in it, and I do believe if he knew the answer to that, it would not occur any longer. Pray for him.

p. r.  I just think they are picking on you, no, I think they have it out for you, yeah, that's it, out for you!!!  They see your name and say, send it to that other site over there, he will never join in the fun again - LOL  ::giggle::  rofl  Who knows why they choose to send one over or not, it is probably the mood they are it that day.  Plus you have different mods and one may think it is general and the other may not.
