Hello my brothers and sisters.

I recently met a women who has inspired me and helped me to grow my faith in the Lord to a level I have never been at, and through it i have gain a friend like no other.  She is a true Beacon of gods love, and a shining example of burning faith!

Here is the Dilemma, I feel as though God has sent her to me to be my one and only.  I have waited patiently for that one person, I am 22 and still a Virgin as I have even in my darkest times never given in to the desires to lose it to anyone but the women god sends me.

Now here is the problem, She believes the lord has sent another to her, he is a good man with his own set of problems, But I feel he is not right for her.

I come here asking what I should do, I do not want to lose her as a friend, and I do not want to break up a match made by God for my own selfish desires be it that is what is making me feel this way.

I must add, the man she has her eyes on recently a few weeks ago broke away with his girlfriend and he has fallen hard resorting to partying and many other fleshly desires.

I just do not know what to do, I pray for the lord to guide me in the right direction, I think i should simply allow things to play out, but, In the same breath I do not wish to see her hurt!

Well,
Chances are she doesn't or did and has lost her desires for you.

And since you don't know her all that well yet...keep moving on.

Let me put it another way.

A genuine Christian single man who knows what lovingkindness looks like in action and in word as well as deed...well...there ain't many of us.

We are an extremely rare commodity.

Even if this one gets away there will be many more to come along. Pick the best one. (your broken heart might say otherwise at the moment)

The women will soon be beating a path to your door. Just be friendly, graceful, fun, generous, and outgoing and all will be well.

In my opinion its not a good idea to put too much hope in her being 'the One' God has for you if she is actually interested in this other person. Sorry if that hurts, I can understand, but as John said, keep your focus on being a very loving, kind and caring guy who walks with the Lord, and in time you will meet someone who loves you back in equal measure. But one thing to consider..does your friend know that you want more from the relationship than friendship? Does she know how you feel? If so, and she is not in line with your view, then work hard at letting it go. If she is not aware then go try woo her heart and perhaps she will see a whole new side to you.

I spoke to the lord for many hour last night, I came to the same conclusion my friend, I have taken my love I had for her and given it all to the Lord. He comes first, and I will continue to wait for I know she is out their and god will bring the one that is for me!

I will continue to love her as a sister in Christ, and show her the man I am, and am soon to become, I know now god knows what it best and shall let things play out.

Thank you, you have solidified the conclusions I have come to through the lord, god bless Brothers!

Congradulations. Don't you feel less anxious and more at peace with trusting Him ?

Either she wants to be with you or not.

Men and women are not meant to be friends in relationship away from other people.

Men and women are meant to marry each other not, be best buddies.

Find another woman.

Also, marriage is not the end of all your troubles and it is not the finish line in life.

A very large percentage of divoces are caused by men and women having opposite sex friends.

Sure, have opposite sex friends at work, but don't cross the line of intimacy.  Intimacy is just not physial.
