UCB ...some good but *yawn*

Bit of a rant incoming...

How come radio stations are so badly operated half the time, I try to listen to UCB, but the babble of the DJ's is often very intrusive and the song playlist is extremely repetitive most of the time. Why do radio stations continually rotate a set of about 12 songs over and over, rather than airing a much more wife ranging section of good songs?? The poor artist who does not happen to be chosen for this tiny selection has no chance to get listens. And its nothing to do with quality, rather who happens to be flavour of the month, which is driven by who knows what...the radio producers personal faves? mass popularity? previous fame of artisit? ..bah I get frustrated. UCB is easily as bad as secular stations. I hoped for something better. I am however grateful for thier efforts to reach people with Gods Word.

There is so much amazing music, both christian and not. If I may indulge myself a moment, but I am very keen on a Finnish band called Poets of the Fall. They are not christian.  They are barely known outside their home country, but imo are totally brilliant. (yes I know its subjective what with our varied tastes) anyways, here are some wonderful lyrics from one of their songs...
