John 19:37 & Zechariah 12:10.

In the Masoretic Text of Zechariah 12:10 it says VE-HEBITU 'AYLAY which means LOOK TOWARD ME. It does not say VE-HEBITU 'ALAY which means LOOK UPON ME.

John 19:37 And again another passage of scripture says, 'They will LOOK ON HIM whom they have pierced.'

Yes, that's the difference, the YUD and the VAV at the end. Sadly we don't have that section (Zechariah 12:10) in the Dead Sea Scrolls to see if John was quoting the D.S.S. or some other manuscript that has 'AYLAV (LOOK TO HIM) instead of 'AYLAY (LOOK TO ME). I believe John was inspired by the Holy Spirit to quote the scripture correctly, and this leaves me to believe that there existed a manuscript (or "scroll
