WAP protocol

How does a person turn off the WAP protocol for this forum?

Many members view this forum over their smart cell phone devices and are stuck with the WAP version.

(My wife has verizon and doesn't have this issue) I have sprint and can't seem to see the forum without the WAP version on my phone.

Any suggestions?

Sorry, what does WAP mean? I have an Android phone and might be able to help but I don't know what WAP means.

Wireless "something" protocol.

Sometimes it is the phone that determines it and sometimes it is the website itself.

Some phones can't take the whole web site so the web site has a version of itself that is stripped down to just a "collumn view" with just text and a few links for the functions.

My phone and yours can do better than that and somehow this site always chooses the WAP version for me to view.

I was wondering if there was some way to bypass it and see it complete.

I don't know John. I used to have a blackberry and the way the forum looked and functioned was way different than it is now with my Iphone. The view and functionality from my Iphone is exactily like on my PC. With my blackberry, I had no moderator powers available. But I do with my Iphone.
