John 14:6 > "Jesus said to him, 'I am the way, the truth, and the life. No one comes to the Father except through Me.'" So, Jesus is "the way" to God. Not our arguing or magic word formulas for controlling God, "For we do not know what we should pray for as we ought" (in Romans 8:26); but be submissive to however "The LORD will guide you continually" (in Isaiah 58:11). In us, Jesus growing in us (Galatians 4:19) makes us pleasing . . . like He has been "a sweet-smelling aroma" on the cross (Ephesians 5:2) > it says we also must live like Jesus and love like Him > "And walk in love, as Christ also has loved us and given Himself for us, an offering and a sacrifice to God for a sweet-smelling aroma." (Ephesians 5:2) Jesus in us shares this with us; so our attention needs to be to how at each moment God rules us in His peace in our hearts > "And let the peace of God rule in your hearts, to which also you were called in one body; and be thankful." (Colossians 3:15) So our attention needs to be to You, LORD, guiding us "continually" in us, and not let our attention be decoyed to arguing and to outward forms of words and works and sacrifices that we ourselves can imagine and control, but submitting to Jesus Himself and see all He does with us. Jesus can create all You please, using anything, like all You have created using the cross; so You are not limited to us and how we can argue and will and fix things ::smile::

"Then He said to them all, 'If anyone desires to come after Me, let him deny himself, and take up his cross daily, and follow Me. For whoever desires to save his life will lose it, but whoever loses his life for My sake will save it.'" (Luke 9:23-24) So, it is not about what I can get myself to choose and do. My self has no part in this. Jesus Himself is the way.

"My grace is sufficient for you, for My strength is made perfect in weakness." (in 2 Corinthians 12:9) Jesus succeeds easily ::smile::
