Let me also join in this prayer...Happy birthday King!

Just a quick note from work guarding this nuclear power generating plant on this Christmas Eve to wish everyone a very merry Christmas.  My prayer tonight is that the Prince of peace will give each and every one of you a peaceful, and joy filled holiday, ESPECIALLY our brother Booty, as we take time out of our busy lives to remember the real importance of this day!

:christmas: Merry Christmas to everyone!

I'm sorry I couldn't figure out the falling snow code this year. For some reason it didn't seem to work right on the new server. I will just have to find a compatible one.

I am very thankful for our new server. Does everyone agree it is much more reliable and faster?

Despite my wife having my cashed paycheck stolen from her ($300) we are having a good Christmas. It would only be better if they caught the guy, though they think they have him on tape, they don't have the act.

Want to give me a Christmas present this year? Invite your friends and family to the board. My goal is to help this board grow into an unparalleled community for Christian support, education, and community.

God bless you all!

Glad to see the snow came from Lee. I saw the snow falling, then saw that the last post on this topic was from Santa Claus, and for a moment, I believed. :christmas:

Bon Voyage

I hope everyone has a Merry Christmas and has fun spending time with family and friends.

Bon Voyage

I hope things work out as well.

I hope everyone here has a joyous holiday season.

Merry Christmas!  Finally finished my shopping this afternoon, so I'll say it again.  Merry Christmas!

As we celebrate the first coming of Christ, may we, like Simeon, live our lives looking forward to the time when he will come again.  He's coming back.  And that gets me pumped up.  As a matter of fact, that's what I will be talking about at the Christmas Eve service tonight.

Come quickly Lord Jesus,

Kevin

:christmas:  Merry Christmas!

I have just come from the Christmas Eve Service where my brother and his family worship.  It was very family oriented and a joy to be celebrating the life of our Lord.  Spurly - thanks for reminding us of Simeon.  I can't think of Simeon without remembering Anna; and while Simeon reminds us to look foward to Jesus' coming, Anna reminds me to be thankful.   She had every reason to be bitter but she "worshiped night and day, fasting and praying."  Then when she saw the face of our Lord "she gave thanks to God and spoke about the child to all who were looking forward to the redemption of Jerusalem."  What a terrific example!

Merry Christmas to all as we follow the examples of Simeon and Anna.

Snow on the ground here.  Taking a little break before the whole family comes together and chaos ensues.  Again, Merry Christmas. :christmas:

The new server's definitely more reliable.  And though some farther south may disagree, I've seen enough snow this year (I'm watching it fall and blow even as I type).

Santa Claus

:christmas:   What a night!!! We finally received our overflight clearance at the last moment, but the mandatory retinal scan caused a untoward reaction in Rudolf's nasal lights. Navigation was quite difficult!!

I wanted to stop by and thank you all for the warm hospitality and tell you how much I enjoyed visiting with each of you. Perhaps we might do it again next year?

My time is drawing short and I really must run, but I do want to leave you with this thought.

Whether you choose to believe in my person, or choose to allow your children to believe in me or not is quite your choice and I respect that. I would consider it bad form to impose a belief in my person on anyone, or to deny a belief in me another might have.

Belief in my person is but a fleeting moment of peace and joy, of love. Actually the same could be and is accomplished by a well done movie or play, a beautiful concert, profound poetry or a warm novel. It also can be found in the selfless act of a neighbour, a social worker or simply a good samaritan. As are these acts, so I too am transient and as a transient, I will be leaving you soon until next year this time.

But I do symbolize in a very meager human way an analogy of a divine act that is not transient. An act of Divine love that brings everlasting peace and joy to those that accept the true gift of Christmas.
For God SO LOVED the world that He sent His only begotten Son, that whosoever shall believe in Him, shall not perish, but shall have everlasting life.
You will not find this gift wrapped and under a twinkling tree, it is not to be found in a jolly fat elf's sack. It is not carried about in a sleigh by enchanted reindeer.  You do not charge it to your credit card to worry later how to pay for it. It is not found in the rush of last minute shopping.

It is found in your private time, on your knees with your head bowed. and your heart open to him,  the Lord of Lord, the King of Kings. Our Saviour, Jesus Christ!!

Merry Christmas to all, and to all a good night!!

God Bless you.

Santa, did you make a stop in West Virginia before you made your rounds last night?  My aunt was at a party at our local circut judge's house, and Santa came in.  The reason I thought it might really be you is that she says he told the kids that Christmas wasn't really about him, then read to them from Luke 2.

Booty

Fate, it would appear Santa had another gift in mind for all of us this year.

Nollaig Shona Duitt!

Amen JeryBrooke.  May you and yours have a great Holiday Season.  I pray that you and your in-laws will someday be reconciled.

Mine is full of cares so far.  But, it's only Christmas Eve... :christmas:

Merry Christmas and God's Peace to each of you!

You all are the best present I could get this year! I so appreciate each one of you and the blessings you bring to my life daily.

Father I plead with you to continue to fill our hearts with your love and guide our feet in your path......amen

Ok. I got the snow working. It occured to me how to do it after I made that post. I try to make it gentle enough so as not to annoy anyone, and visible enough so that those who enjoy it, can.

The snow is cool.  Lee you are amazing.  Thanks so much for all you do for us.  May the Lord richly bless you.  One question:  Who has to shovel?
Patrick :)

Merry Belated Christmas to all! :christmas:

Great job on the snow Lee!

Hey Santa! What happened to my Kittle's and the kid's PS2?

Should The Lord Jesus Christ decide to not come before the New Year, may He bless us with great and awsome blessings and may we walk in His light and let our lights so shine before men that they may see our good works and glorify the Father which is in Heaven.
