Operational problems

Is this forum ever going to be up and running smoothly?  As it is, it is very frustrating to say the least.  It takes forever for anything to happen if it ever does.  You never are sure something gets posted.  Every time I enter the forum I feel like that frustrated old vulture sitting on the fence talking to his friend sitting beside him and says,  "Patience my a$$, I am going to go kill something."

113 guests and 8 members online and this site is still slower than molasses in Alaska.  Something is wacky.

The Admin of this site is likely working on the website this weekend. It is going to have some issues till then.

Right now the posting of the most current replies is having issues.

But soon he promises that the site will run better than it has in the past year.

The numbers of visitors and guests has grown steadily over the past year so much so that newer and better upgrades for our traffic (7,000 people per day) was needing to be addressed. Also the number of posts and threads has increased as well...(you can see those numbers in the stats)

All of this takes up storage space and bandwidth to handle...and processors to process.
All of which takes coordination of servers...which means that third parties are involved which takes time to coordinate.

Soooo...trust me when I say our admin is twice as frustrated as yawl about this issue and is working non-stop to try to fix the issues we are having. 

We exist because of the advertisements that run on the pages of these threads. They almost pay the bills. (with the work that is needing to be done lately by professionals and etc they likely ain't)
