It depends on your personality to a large extent. Some people hate being alone, and will do almost anything to avoid it, others love to be alone and find socialising a drain. I suppose we all need as balance, and its good for all of us to spend sometime with others and some time alone. You seem to be an introvert. I am more like you, even though I am very happily married, but I do go out and do things on a regular basis that I enjoy, and I do have some close friends as well.
Hope you dont mind me mentioning, but do  you any desire to be independent and leave home? I have 3 adult children of your sort of age and they all left home at around 24, and have been independent ever since.(one now married and one engaged).Being independent may help you to enjoy more time doing things and being with others some of the time at least. Many girls just wouldnt be inetersted in a guy still at home at 31. Just a thought.
Do you belong to a good church that has young people of your age to get to know?

balance, yes . . .

I understand that Jesus wants us to be with other Christian people and share. But I'm finding this does involve stress as much as I still need to mature. Plus, I need how my other Christian people can help me to do better so I can love without so much stress and paranoia and critical reacting and unforgiveness messing me up.

God is trusting us to love any and all people, but we need to become strong (Ephesians 6:10, 1 Peter 3:13, 1 John 4:17-18) in love so we can do this and stay compassionate and sweet and caring (Ephesians 5:1-2).

"For none of us lives to himself, and no one dies to himself. For if we live, we live to the Lord; and if we die, we die to the Lord. Therefore, whether we live or die, we are the Lord's." (Romans 14:7-8)

I would say there is time when we need be alone so we can pray and get more with God. Then, with God (Luke 18:27), we are ready to go to love any and all people (Matthew 5:46) the way God shares His love with us (Romans 5:5, John 17:22-23). Jesus left Heaven itself, in order to come to be with us and love us. So, we should be eager to leave our own little heavens, in order to love people ::smile::
