Worst Remake Ever

The remake of An Affair to Remember[/i] with Annette Benning and Warren Beatty was really bad.

The remake of The Getaway[/i] with Alec Baldwin and Kim Bassinger was really, really bad.

What do these two movies teach us?  That married couples shouldn't remake a classic just because it happens to be their favorite film.

And when will people learn the second most important rule concerning remakes that you have pointed out?  NEVER NEVER remake an Audrey Hepburn movie becuase there was, and will only ever be one, Audrey Hepburn.  

BTW, I think it was Cary Grant.  As if Thandie Newton and Marky-Mark could top that pairing!

What do you think is the worst remake ever?

I was on an airplane to Arizona and had to watch "The Truth About Charlie" starring Mark Waldberg and Thandie Newton which is apparently a remake of "Charade" starring (I think) Audrey Hepburn and Spencer Tracy.

That was absolutely the worst, most nonsensical piece of garbage I have ever seen in my life.  My friend and I just kept looking at each other and laughing because we couldn't believe we were watching a movie this bad.  I mean it was pitiful.  The only reason I even saw the end of it was that I was stuck on a plane with no where to go. :frowning:
