Why would anyone move visions from a prophecy forum? Are visions not prophetic? These were. Just what is meant by you with the term prophetic?

JohnDB

Most people believe that prophesy ended with the book of Revelations being the final prophesy. So anyone saying they have a new prophesy for the masses of all believers is going to be viewed as non traditional.

Huldah

Where are the books, verses and chapters that back up the statement that prophecy ended with revelations? Curious and would really like to know.

Well that in Lower case letters would be a question to raise in Non-traditional theology now wouldn't it?

LightHammer

That's not an accurate depiction of how I see things. Prophecy is not necessary inclusive to the ending of revelation with the Apostles. When we say that revelation ended with the Apostles it means that all Truth that would be given had been given once and for all was given with the last living Apostle, St. John.

Some very well may have the gift of prophecy but that is neither here nor there.

Prophesy ended with revelation?! Now that's non-traditional. Are you telling me that on an international website that believing in prophesy after the book of revelation; that is non-traditional worldwide??!! Unbelievable statement. What denomination are you from to believe that?

Snargles

I am a member of the Church of Christ and I believe that prophecy ended after Revelation.

Nevertheless

I am a member of the Christian church and I do NOT believe that prophecy ended with the book of Revelation.

Most denominations that hold to cessationism believe that the Book of Revelation was the last true prophecy.
