Wrong not this day.

A New Year is upon us.

Is this the year your labors for the Lord will yield a good harvest?

Wrong not this day as one who sits idly by, longing for tomorrow.  With patience, take your plow in hand, labor on Oh servant of God; plow deep the furrows in the fields He has provided; sow carefully the seeds of His salvation, a great work lay before us all.

The love of Christ will cause the clouds to give up their living waters. Watch, as the seeds live, and the ground gives way. New life seeking the light of life.  Stand back as the Spirit works, unfolding bud by bud, each new born saint.

We breath Christ's very breath, our lives are His. The Lord will turn the newly planted, field into a sea of golden grain. Watch as it sways back and forth with the breath of His breath.

Eternal life is His reward. The harvest is not for our glory, nor for our taking. His angels shall reap; as every new-born saint is brought forth, cherished, and loved by Him. The harvest is His; a new life prepared, as new sowers wait to take plow in hand.

The voices of the sowers, and reapers can be heard singing in the distance, a song unto the Lord. The sifting of the wheat from the chaff is finished this day. But this night, the harvesting angels shall sharpen their blades, to again thrust them deep into the ripened fields.

Many have come and gone before us; so ask yourself, Have I left my work undone as so many others before me? Have I finished the work God gave me; or have I sat idly by, as my hair goes gray, my legs grow weak, and my back begins to bend?

How short is our time; how few are the laborers? but how great is the reward. Pray, seek, and do the work of our God, for life waits for no man.

May you all have a blessed New Year, and may the Lord keep you, your family, and friends safe. God bless you all.
