There Is Only One Good News

I am shocked that you are turning away so soon from God, who called you to himself through the loving mercy of Christ. You are following a different way that pretends to be the Good News but is not the Good News at all. You are being fooled by those who deliberately twist the truth concerning Christ.

Let God's curse fall on anyone, including us or even an angel from heaven, who preaches a different kind of Good News than the one we preached to you.

You are preaching basic doctrine here. That God dwelleth in our temples, I call it basic because most Christians understand this, apart from those who view christianity as a historic reference and teaching of a good man named Jesus.
It is those that look at Christ in only a historic manner, as if he were a figure as unto Shakespeare, Mozart, Gandhi, it is those that need his mercy of knowing him in spirit and truth.

In Exe 28 you see the man of sin, the Cherub, the one in the Garden of Eden.     Just as Jesus was Melchizedek we find Lucifer in the king in Exe 28:12-28.               In history Lucifer isn't limited to one or can only enter into one.

Now we have the exact same type of man in existence - EXACTLY!  The Hexagram flag of Satan.  Rothschild's family flag now the flag of Israel - one man owns Israel per the documents and verifiable with the British government.

Jesus said that Judas was the man of sin and I don't think it stopped there.

I agree with your post above for the most part. I just have not decided if 70 AD was actually when Jesus returned.

His "return" was His coming in judgment upon Jerusalem and this is typified in the Old Testament.  First of all, do you agree Jesus Christ is God Almighty?  If He is, then He and He alone has the power to judge sin.  Fortunately, Revelation gives us the answer to this question:

When I saw Him, I fell at His feet like a dead man. And He placed His right hand on me, saying, "Do not be afraid; I am the first and the last, and the living One; and I was dead, and behold, I am alive forevermore, and I have the keys of death and of Hades. Revelation 1:17-18 (NASB)

Alpha and Omega.  First and Last.  Look familiar?

"Thus says the LORD, the King of Israel and his Redeemer, the LORD of hosts: 'I am the first and I am the last, And there is no God besides Me. Isaiah 44:6 (NASB)

"Listen to Me, O Jacob, even Israel whom I called; I am He, I am the first, I am also the last.  "Surely My hand founded the earth, And My right hand spread out the heavens; When I call to them, they stand together. Isaiah 48:12-13 (NASB)

Having now firmly established that Christ of Revelation is the Lord God of the Old Testament, read what He told His disciples about the way they would be treated at the hands of His enemies:

"Behold, I send you out as sheep in the midst of wolves; so be shrewd as serpents and innocent as doves.  "But beware of men, for they will hand you over to the courts and scourge you in their synagogues;  and you will even be brought before governors and kings for My sake, as a testimony to them and to the Gentiles. Now, look what He tells His enemies, the chief priests, scribes, and Pharisees:

"Therefore, behold, I am sending you prophets and wise men and scribes; some of them you will kill and crucify, and some of them you will scourge in your synagogues, and persecute from city to city,  so that upon you may fall the guilt of all the righteous blood shed on earth, from the blood of righteous Abel to the blood of Zechariah, the son of Berechiah, whom you murdered between the temple and the altar.  "Truly I say to you, all these things will come upon this generation. 

"Jerusalem, Jerusalem, who kills the prophets and stones those who are sent to her! How often I wanted to gather your children together, the way a hen gathers her chicks under her wings, and you were unwilling.  "Behold, your house is being left to you desolate! Matthew 23:34-38 (NASB)

Any of this look familiar?  It should.  It happened to Jerusalem before!

All the articles of the house of God, great and small, and the treasures of the house of the LORD, and the treasures of the king and of his officers, he brought them all to Babylon.  Then they burned the house of God and broke down the wall of Jerusalem, and burned all its fortified buildings with fire and destroyed all its valuable articles.  Those who had escaped from the sword he carried away to Babylon; and they were servants to him and to his sons until the rule of the kingdom of Persia, 2 Chronicles 36:15-20 (NASB)

God sent prophets to turn the people back to Him and they killed the prophets He sent.  In return, God judged Jerusalem using Babylon as the instrument of its destruction; burning down the city and sending its survivors into captivity in 586 BC.

Now, look at the same passage from II Chronicles above keeping Jesus' words in mind and substitute Rome for Babylon:

Jesus Christ sent word to them again and again by His apostles, because He had compassion on His people and on His dwelling place;  but they continually mocked His messengers, despised His words and persecuted His apostles, until His wrath arose against His people, until there was no remedy.

Now read Revelation 5 and Matthew 21:33-45 (which is drawn from Isaiah 5:1-7) and understand that His "coming" was in judgment upon those who slew the Son and persecuted His apostles ("messengers") to death.  His second coming was never about a return to earth but a coming in judgment.  And this judgment happened in 70 AD.

His coming "in the clouds of heaven" is an allusion to the manner in which God came in judgment upon a nation in the Old Testament, Isaiah 19:1 being a perfect illustration of this:

The oracle concerning Egypt. Behold, the LORD is riding on a swift cloud and is about to come to Egypt; The idols of Egypt will tremble at His presence, And the heart of the Egyptians will melt within them. Isaiah 19:1 (NASB)

See that word presence?  This same idea of the presence (Greek "parousia") of the judge in judgment upon a nation is repeated in Matthew 24:

"For just as the lightning comes from the east and flashes even to the west, so will the coming [parousia "presence"] of the Son of Man be. Matthew 24:27 (NASB)

The fact is that 2 Thess. was written about 51AD. So Christ's return hadn't happened yet anyway!

It's simple math too! 70 minus 51 is 19 yrs.

So, obviously His coming to gather his saints in him hadn't happened when Paul spoke this to the Thessalonians!

Israel lost its privilege, and all nations were invited to come to the wedding celebration of the Lamb. This destruction of the nation, because of their rejection of Christ, was prophesied from the beginning of John the Baptist's ministry.

For I say to you that God is able to raise up children to Abraham from these stones. 10 "And even now the ax is laid to the root of the trees. Therefore every tree which does not bear good fruit is cut down and thrown into the fire.

Jesus came in judgement on the nation Israel in A.D. 70; ending forever the nation, its physical temple and sacrifices. So, God is through with Israel.

I charge you therefore before God, and the Lord Jesus Christ, who is about to judge the quick and the dead at His appearing and His kingdom...2 Timothy 4:1

The same Paul you cite to condemn those with whom you disagree is the same Paul who believed and taught that Jesus was about to return.  I think I'm on safer scriptural grounds than you.

Nonsense. Jesus has never come again---that is a dangerous fable you believe and have not one shred of evidence for proof.

According to scripture, Israel has revived and become a nation again and is prospering under the hand of God. According to prophecy, all Israel will be saved, praise God! He is never through with her!

I am pretty well-versed in the OT and am aware of God's plan for Israel. She was scattered for centuries, but now is returning to her homeland, and a nation she is again! Praise God! We are right in the middle of an amazing time of prophetic fulfillment, paving the way for Jesus Christ to come again and take His rightful earthly throne that God has promised Him.

Many people are blind to these matters, it is extremely clear. Study the word. Don't believe what errant and ignorant teachers say. When Jesus comes.................       The word comes is meaningless alone.

And here:  But the day of the Lord will come as a thief in the night; in the which the heavens shall pass away with a great noise, and the elements shall melt with fervent heat, the earth also and the works that are therein shall be burned up.

You either believe the Bible and are saved or your don't and are not.         That's about as plain as it gets.

   God doesn't go against His recorded plan in the Bible. Sometimes people imagine God would tell them specific things that involve many people because they want it to happen their way.
God doesn't work that way.  The Bible wasn't recorded from personal interpretations.
