If you happen to be the one to pick the best bracket on ESPN, you could win $10,000.  Join the group from GCMagazine, and make your picks today.

Here's what you need to do:

1)  Go to espn.com
2)  Click on the "fantasy" link.
3)  Register to participate (registration is free!)
4)  Find the icon for the men's tournament challenge on the fantasy page.
5)  Fill out your bracket
6)  Join the GCMagazine group by clicking on "create or join a group" from your sign in page to the men's tournament challenge.
7)  Type in the name: GCMagazine.
8)  Type in the password: passion (case sensitive)
9)  Press enter and you are in!

I hope to see you there.

Kevin (Go OSU Cowboys!)

If the time to make my picks hasn't passed...

Am I allowed to pick based on which team mascot I like best? Which schools I know someone at? The location I would most like to live? :)

I have friends who have beat their husbands at brackets using these strategies...I've also heard that in a study, monkeys did just as well as humans at picking teams.

marc

ESPN had a front page poll yesterday concerning such strategies.  I voted for "most interesting city".

btw, as I type this two games have finished, and I missed 'em both. :(

Alright, how many of the final four did you pick correctly.  I picked two - OSU and UCONN.

I was lucky with three - Duke, Ct, Ok. St.

Even though I picked Ok. St. - Ct. looks pretty powerful.  How would Ok. St. match up with them?

Oklahoma State's achilles heel is a great big man in the middle.  They don't have one.  When they play other teams that do, i.e. BYU, they have trouble.  We will have to wait and see.  I know Eddie Sutton is a great coach and he is probably already working on a plan to neutralize Okafor.

Other than that, OSU matches up well with UCONN.
