Saving PM Sent

I notice that the PM's I send are not being saved at My Messages.  They were being saved a long while ago, and I have not changed the request.  Any solution to this?

Dear Brother Seriousseeker, try going to your [Profile] at the top of the home page, then to the left side of that page and choose [Personal Messaging] I colored Red under the Modify Profile heading.

Modify Profile
•   Account Settings
•   Forum Profile
•   Look and Layout
•   Notifications
•   Personal Messaging
•   Buddies/Ignore List

Back to the main body of the Profile, and next to the very bottom you will find this following instruction with a small box to be checked:
   Save a copy of each personal message in my sent items by default. [x]

Go to the right bottom of the Profile page and select [Change profile]

From this time forward you should now be able to go to GCCF homepage, go to the top of the page to [My Messages], select it and then select [Read your messages] from the drop down list.

Next you will see the following list of selections along the left side of the page. Select the third from the top which is Sent Items which I highlighted in Red. I hope it works for you.

Messages
•   New Message
•   Inbox
•   Sent Items

Next is a small box at the lower left hand of the area we type the PM that should have a
[x] Save a copy in my outbox. (The outbox is the Sent Items)

I followed your plan, Larry, and and I still cannot find my Sent Messages recorded anywhere ---only the received ones.  The box showing Save a copy by default is checked as it always has been.  Something strange here, but I guess I can live with it.

I had the same problem, and it is only a navigational problem.

Go to 'My Messages' at the top of the page here.

Lower down on the extreme left there is an orange 'Messages'. Hover over that and select either:

New Message

Inbox

Sent Items



Everything should be there!

I just sent a PM to Admin notifying him of the problem and there may be a glitch, but I just noticed something when sending the message, and that is a small box at the lower left hand of the area we type the PM that should have a check in it also I think as a result of your opting to save "Save a copy of each personal message in my sent items by default. [x]" in your profile.

The box at the lower left corner of the PM typing pane should read:  [x] Save a copy in my outbox. (The outbox is the Sent Items) Feel welcome to PM me and see if it works.

Alright, Larry ---I found it.  It surely is an obscure way to get to Sent messages.  I would think it would be right there with the incoming messages.  Oh, well, all is well!  Thanks.
