Single christian women often say the good guys are taken or not Christian hence they are still single. but what if one is single because impossibly good Christian guys exist just that they seem to be going down the road of celibacy???

What happens when you meet the perfect Christian guy, i.e. uncommonly drop dead gorgeous (literally, tall dark and handsome), has a heart that really seeks and pursues God not just 'I'm a Christian', and is still single in his thirties when most of the Christian guys that age (in my country, at least) are married? Only problem is that he is a passive - a little shy around girls and will never seem to make the first move, doesn't seem to be actively finding a girlfriend, and he's not in your regular social circle so there will be very limited opportunities to meet him?

Being in my 20s and single, I thought I would settle for single Christian guys who's faith is so-so , looks are so-so - and these guys seem to show more interest - until i met him, where he just reset the bar. we talked once by chance that was all, he hardly ever talks to girls but sticks to the brothers (but he's not gay). Fervent and passionate about his faith but romantically passive?

what should I do? forget him and move on and settle for another guy? i once gave myself a deadline to get married by a certain time, but now I just find it hard to say yes to the other guys because that guy makes it so hard to be physically attracted to anyone else. Or even spiritually attracted to any other, because this guy whom I talked about happens to have a passion for God that only a rare few brothers possess... have prayed to God but have no answer.

Firstly, never set a deadline to get married, that is asking for trouble. If you are only in your 20s you have loads of time.
Secondly this guy. He may or may not be wanting to met a girl, but if he is, and he is in your church, why cant you be more proactive and contact him? Failing that, ask one of his friends what they think. He may just be very shy, or he may not be wanting to marry, but if you dont make that effort then you will never know.
Also, dont think that you know him that well, or what he is like, you have only talked to him once, and just because he is very good looking dont let that sway you. In fact thinking about it, it would be very unusual for a very good looking godly Christian guy not to be attached or married at his age if he was indeed very keen to meet someone. There are so many single Christian ladies compared to the number of guys. Maybe it is extreme shyness. but thats for you to discover. ::smile::

Oh goodness,

What Chosenone says is correct about your attraction him. BUT

If you want to get to know him then volunteer in one of the projects/missions he is involved with. To find that out you are gonna have to straight out ask him. Tell him that you find him to be a discerning guy and wanted his opinion about the projects he works in. Then go and help. Talk to him and watch his behavior towards others.
