I was wondering if it was just me or does anyone else have problems find people to date. I always keep a lookout for nice women. Every one I meet is married. All the women I meet that are not married are ..... less choosey about their relationships, including who they are intimate with. I can't find any women that I would like to be the mother of my children.

When did a dozen tattoos, as many piercings, and 100 plus sexual partners become the norm? I admit to being a little old fashioned in my thinking, but I really not that old (35). Are my expectations to high, or are their good single women still out there?

fassopony

Yes, there are.  I'm 41 and I sure as heck don't want some guy who wants a bunch of kids LOL!!

Maybe look at the younger gals ;)

I really have lost the interest in even dating.  Too many single dads with high drama lives, men who expect sex before marriage, etc.  I have a great life, a great job, and quite honestly it would take one HECK of a guy to even be on my radar.

I think as females age we realize it's gotta be more than just cute or handsome.  It;s the whole package or nothing.  Why settle?

Are you a Christian guy looking for a Christian girl?
If so, do you belong to a good lively church? Are you involved in midweek meetings/events? Do you attend singles groups? IF you are a Christian, then no, your expectations arent too high. Never settle for second best is what God said to me. There are godly ladies out there.
I know seven Christian married couples who met on Christian dating sites, including my husband and I. Why not try that?

Oh yeah. Chosenone is correct. Go to church & prepare to get mobbed when you regularly attend the small group bible studies for singles.

Even if the ladies play cool at first they really aint. There are a lot more of them than there are of Christian Single men. If you let it be known that the way to your heart is solely through your stomach you won't have to eat alone again.

And if there aren't any single groups in your church attend a different one.

I would love attend a church, but I have lived here for five years and I have not found a church within 40 minutes of me. This area is almost 100% catholic, and while I don't have anything against the catholic faith/denomination I myself am not catholic. The few churches I have found and checked out are very very heavily into "their" denomination. A singles group and a church home sound wonderful.

I am non-denominational BTW. I don't care about what this denomination or that denomination says. Only what my bible and God tell me. I walk his path and he will keep me on it when I stray. Notice I said when and not if. I'm not perfect. I know. I know. You all are shocked by that, but it is the truth.  rofl

Which denominations do you have there apart from the RC's?
Why not try the internet?

Honestly, don't pressure yourself.

I'm 43 and looking.  Don't be afraid to look at ladies in their 20s or 40s.

And don't be afraid to look beyond tattoos and piercings.

The tattoos could be a holdover however. ::shrug::
Yes of course. So many young ladies do have them today and I think its sad. Some of the small ones are nice and can look feminine, but those large ones they have look so ugly. I often wonder how may will regret having them later on and many people do go to have them removed.

Makewecasa

My niece has some kind of Christian one on her foot.  I have nothing against the small inconspicuous tattoos but this one covers most of the top of her foot.  I'm not expressing moral disapproval but I sure don't think it's very attractive.  Her mama didn't approve, but there's just so much power of approval that you have when they are grown and on their own.

I really want to start a family. I feel that if I don't have children soon that I will be to old to truly bond with them and develop a good relationship. I'm not afraid of getting old, only getting old before I have the chance to be a real father in my children's lives.

As far as Tattoos go I find them unattractive. I could live with 1 or 2 small ones. We all did.....questionable things when we were young. I am not nor have I ever been a wild person. I don't drink, smoke, use drugs or have casual sex as many my age do, nor have I ever. I hope to find a woman who has similar values and beliefs. I just feel like there are no single women like that anymore. I know I don't ever meet any.  ::lookaround:: ::cryingtears::

How old are you? Have you tried the internet?
The thing is that I know 4 or 5 young people in their 20's and 30's who complain thay they havent met anyone, and yet they do nothing about it. Even if I suggest the internet they look at me as if I was mad. They seem to think that God is going to plonk someone on their laps. Sometimes we have to be proactive in these things and get out there are do something. If I hadnt gone on the internet I wouldnt now be married to a wonderful man. My son and my elder daughter both met their lovely spouses on Christian dating sites. Both of them came to God at around age 30 and they didnt have many Christian friends because of that. Its becoming a very common way to meet people, especially for Christians.

Ramlatus

I have tried many Christian dating sites as well as some non Christian ones. 9 out of 10 of the non Christian ones are downright vulgar. I have found one or two that are not, but being on there for months got me no replies and no messages. The Christian one are not vulgar, but no one wants to message me or reply to my messages. I guess I just don't know how to peak a woman's interest. I'm a very quite guy. I think I could get on well with a nice woman if I could get them to talk with me. Just don't sparkle enough to get that far. Ha. I figure that part of my problem is that I don't make much money. Women want guys that make a decent wage at least.
