"Notify" only works when it feels like it

You should see a dramatic improvement by adjusting these settings in your Profile admin area...

Ya I'm still finding it to be haphazard these days since the site makeover. It's not ruining my life or anything but just bringing that to your attention.

Okay just now there was a reply on a thread I started (I saw a guy with a sign . . .) where notify was definitely checked . . . and I wasn't notified.

Ok, did a little investigating on SMF support site to see if this issue was a problem with other SMF powered sites... seems that if the owner has limitations on his "hosting" email account it can cause this to happen... I made a small change to his hosting account and let's see if this makes a difference, also keep in mind that with such a high traffic site such as this you may experience delays of several minutes, if you discover the reply before the system has a chance to queue up your notification it will count your discovery as viewed and will cancel the notification... follow?
