This forum is one of the least user friendly forums I've ever visited.  Most forums give you the ability to find your own posts but that is not the case here.  It is really hard for an old dinosaur like me to operate here.  Is that age discrimination?  You guys dont like old people?

look up at the top of the page


Look at the top of the left side where it says, "Hello Stucky"


now look right below it


There are two lines of text there...


One says "Show unread posts since your last visit"


The other says "Show new replies to your posts"


The second one about show new replies is a clickable link that will show you every thread that someone has replied to that you have commented in.


try that before getting too frustrated eh?

It's just the way of getting there bringing up your profile, click on your own user name, look to the upper left side of that window and click on "Show posts."

But John Boy, what about a post I made 34 posts ago and I want to refer back to it.  I am old and forget what category certain posts are in.  Other forums have a secion listing the posts you've made so you can go back and find the one you are looking for.  Thanks for answering btw.

OMGosh, I didnt even see that.  Thank you Larry.  I should tell you guys, I guess, that I have Alzheimers and one of my reasons for coming here again was that my doctor recommended it.  I'm really sorry I tax your patience.

I dont know, I was here back in 2009, I think, but I dont remember a duck.  Perhaps if you refreshed my memory.  I have Alzheimer's now so many things are not clear to me.  When I read your post, I thought you were ridiculing me so I guess, I got a little irked.  It's been happening here with some people.  I spologize if I offended you.

Yogi, I was thinking about that duck last night and something is ringing a bell in my mixed up head about it.  I used to be a "nice, loving God fearing man" but now, even with my meds, I have periods of irrascibility and crankiness and make a complete jackass of myself.  The Big A isn't something I'd wish on anyone.  In my mind I compare it with Asperghers in young children.  That disease turns little angels into monsters sometimes.  Not that I am an angel, far from it.  If you liked me, I dont want to lose that just because I cant remember why I used a duck as an avatar.  As it is now, I cant even figure out how to put an avatar on my profile other than a standard one issued by this website.
